X Ambassadors - Stolen Car Lyrics

I met a little girl and I settled down
In a little house out on the edge of town
We got married and swore we'd never part
Then little by little, we drifted from each other's hearts

First I thought it was just restlessness
That would fade as time went by and our love grew deep
In the end it was something more I guess
That tore us apart and made us weep

I'm driving a stolen car down on Eldridge Avenue
Each night I wait to get caught but I never do

She asked if I remembered those letters I wrote
When our love was young and bold
She said, "Last night I read those letters
And they made her feel one hundred years old"

I'm driving a stolen car on a pitch black night
And I'm telling myself I'm gonna be alright
But I drive by night and I travel in fear
That in this darkness I will disappear

I can’t stop listening to this!
Do you have some other songs similar to this? I tried going through some you have posted but there are a lot of them.
Would like to see your recommendation.

Coffee And Cigarettes, Summerland and Once In A Lifetime by The Night Game are some i think you'll like. Your Love Is All I Know, Stand Me Up and Eyelashes by BAILEN are also something you may enjoy. Oh The Places You'll Go, Lighthous On The Sea, Burning It Down and Good Morning Sunlight by I Fight Dragons are a little heavier, but i think you may like them as well. Hope you Enjoy them!

Wow! This is awesome! :) My band are heavily influenced by Springsteen and we have just released a brand new music video! It would mean a lot if you could check it out and let us know what you think! :)

Checked 3 of your songs, Innocence, What You Want, and Heavy Faces, i love the Rock and Folk feel you have, and while there is a lot of improvement left to do in areas like Sound Production and lyrics writting, for being a new band, you really are promising. Congratulations
