when within temptation were GOOD. an not pop comercial boring atrocious...... like today.
When i think within temptation I think "Promise" "The Dance" "Gatekeeper" "Deceiver Of Fools" "Dark Wings" "World of Make Believe" (god dammit, I LOVE The fuck of that song!!!) "Aquarius" "Forsaken" "See Who I Am"
All this till 2004...
i can argue that "The Heart Of Everything" is still a good album, but, something is missing there...
after that ... fuck it. I am done!

Their live version of this song on the Mother Earth tour is probably my favorite song on Youtube. She finishes it with her vocals instead of guitars like the studio version. She is so passionate, haunting and mesmerizing. Can't believe I have only heard of this band the past six months or so. They have very little following here in the US, same as many incredible European goth/symponic metal bands. So sad they didn't keep this sound.

Some for the better and some for the worse. This was for the worse. So true fans will accept them and support them? Ok, let me get this straight. So if they "evolved" into something like country or polka or maybe even reggie, you will accept them and support them? Like many bands have changed, they will lose fans and gain new ones no matter what they do..

It's one of my favourites too :). Their new album is pretty good and I love 'Sinead', but I feel that the album generally lacks the magic of this, 'Enter or the songs from the 'Mother Earth' and 'The Silent Force'.

@XxfrozenbutterflyxX An hour isn't long for video with lyrics. If I'm making a video with lyrics it usually takes me two hours and one ( The escapist by Nightwish) took me even four and half hours. But I think that one is my best video.

"Nevil whatever You have done, please have Faith..." This is a key words :) we live believing in something or someone and what's happened if We stop believe?? The Faith of myself or your self is a most important thing in this crazy world. This is the story. :)

Nevil it's a Devil probably, the darkness character in this song, a kind of character, I think it's a Feelings, hes a Feelings... Identified Fear, Uncertainty, Loneliness, Omission, No Faith...

this style is so much better than the one of "utopia".

Haunting dark and mystifing sharon voice has great deph and range while roberts grunts are awesom brilliant instrumentation and well produced great song

Wow this is awsome and better than their new stuff (not that its bad or anything) but the darkness of these songs is just awsome, this can be easily called top class true goth metal

within grunts work up your spine sounds good to start and feels better everytime one of the few and best GOOD GREAT grunts in a band i hope robert does more in the future cds

I've been listening to this song more often now, that it's starting to be one of my favorites! I LOVE it so much now, it's unbelievable! I love the instrumentation, the way Sharon sings it, and just the whole feeling of it! Brings chills down my spine (good chills, that is!) I especially love 2:08-2:34 and 3:25-3:50 where Sharon sings with her "WOO's" and Robert does his cool grunt! I would so love it if WT were to perform this song in one of their later concerts!
