Now that's it's been 8 yrs my heart don't hurt as bad..
Just take your time with the prosessing. Be sure to go speak to a Mental Health Therapist, really does help.

As far as blood line my Grandchildren feel the same 1/8th.
The Peaceful Protest was not very peaceful tanks tear gas rubber bullets.
Willie has been to Dakota many times for Indigenous peoples causes.

Cathy thank you. Yea I have always been interested in my family heritage. my immediate family and I live in Michigan. There's not a lot of Creek info hear or on the internet. We do have a lot of Ojibwa. I work with some. It has been tricky trying to break the ice since my experience they can be suspicious of any outsiders. But when I was successful we usually have good conversations.

Indigenous History is sometimes a task.
I believe Indigenous History should be in History Book's but with the truth.

I grew up listening and playin' at Willie's. His family was such a part of how I perceived the world should be and sadly found out not all live and love the way Willie and family love. The sound of his voice and that beautiful unique beaten up guitar will always be the hum that takes me home.

Thanks Norma. I do have lots of happy memories of her, but I still miss her a whole lot. Just like I still miss my mom (died 1980) and older sister (died 2005) a whole lot. I only have one sister left now. And a younger brother. But we’re all getting up there in years. We can’t live forever though, only in memories.

Condolences, so sorry for your loss.. I just recently lost a friend I've known since grade-school - we drifted apart as we got older, fell into hanging out with different crowds.. he took his own life this September and it's been very hard for me to reflect on his passing, as we were the same age (21) and I - guess that I just wish I reached out to him more, I seen him one last time just before he decided he had enough. Hang in there fellow stranger, some of my generation still has respect. I assure you!

@Vótkalemón' Sorry for you loss, I told my therapist lady that I understand her ache. Her husband just died suddenly last week and I really feel for her, she often spoke of him during our sessions. Been seeing her for two years now trying to work out the total bummer my x dropped on me. Now I suppose I'll be letting her talk to me, she's just around 40 something and I could tell she was in love with him. Poor baby. You take care!

Knockitoff My opinion don't to much matter I suppose, but I used to have a critical attitude of suicide. The more I reflect on it though what a sad place to be in to believe that ending it all is the only answer. Just saying my heart goes out to all those affected and certainly those commiting it.
