@coordinatezero Well-written opinion, but I couldn't disagree more. The band smiles--Christ, Carrie is a comedic-actress. Calling this 'indie-punk crap' really misses the point. 'Tuneless'?!?! The guitar bridge in this song couldn't be any more melodic and tasteful. OK, the part about guys hoping to snag 'indie cred' and bag one of these gals--or gals like them--is probably true. It's a breath of fresh air, in my opinion. My God....'Glass Tambourine'! Good post, though...

@coordinatezero Dude I listen to this band because it makes me feel good. So, I think its just a matter of taste. I discovered Wild Flag recently, and I love it!
Boring. Horrible vocals. A band that never smiles and whose songs never smile. Life is too short to keep beaning yourself on the head with negative-vibe angular cookie-cutter indie-punk crap. Yay, women rocking out... but snore, music. For fans of tuneless punk only, or guys who are overly concerned with maintaining indie cred and think liking the band a lot will get them in bed with any of the members eventually, lesbian or not.

Why can't these ladies ever get a decent recording of their music? They rocked this song so hard in their live show. I guess it's just like S-K all over again. You haven't really heard them until you've heard them live.
