In 1975, i recall in our local movie Theatre , when the film 'Pinball Wizard' (*which included this song , sung by Roger Daltry) Opened on a Saturday, the line of patrons 'including men with Long hair down to their shoulders' stretched for 2 city blocks. SUch long line was eclipse a few months later with "Jaws".

The music of today can’t hold a candle to what we had in our generation.

Alternative rock makes some bangers though! This is a good ass song, but try Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand, Desensitize by Dreamers, Believer by Imagine Dragons, and Novocaine by The Unlikely Candidates are really good songs.

To know what to expect, Take Me Out is leaning to industrial rock, Desensitize is closer to EDM or pop, Believer is Arena Rock, and Novocaine is just rock that is called alternative. Still, this is a playlist worthy, chill song and I love it.

The new gen rock isn't something to laugh at and dismiss. If you like any variation of rock, it is still being made. After all, rock is the 3rd most popular genre in the US. And because of quality recording capabilities and new instruments, crisper audio is much more common. And other genres are not too bad too.

A good trip was always worth a tear! My first trip was with Yes Fragile but I had already loved that album before I started tripping, coincidentally we played the album at that time and I loved it even more! Thanks to a friend of mine and his older brother who turned me on to prog rock, weed and trips! They always had great albums and great weed and trips! We were doing red blotter acid at the time! "Take a trip back in time" from Nektar "Remember The Future" part one! That was one of the albums that they turned me onto too! Long live classic rock, especially progressive rock!

I'm an 80s and 90s Millennial and thanks to my mother, I've gotten into the 60s music, there's just something about the 60s when it revolves around the social attitudes and worldview of that time. Despite all the adversity of that decade, at least the music talked about peace and love, not hate and rage as it is today. In my humble opinion, we early and late Millennials have a lot to learn from the social attitude and music from the 60s. It's so sad that the Millennials of today's generation don't know what they're missing. Always keep the peace and love always. Because you'll never know when you're going to need them in these desperate times we're living in. ✌️🌻🌼☮️
