@Peter Walsh That's literally the point though. I don't know how familiar you are with the band, but the simplicity in Meg's drumming is exactly what Jack White wanted. He literally told her in the beginning to not get any better. It's like when Picasso said it took him four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child. That's exactly what Meg sounded like, a child who'd just picked up a pair of drumsticks for the first time. It's what gave them that unique sound. I suppose it isn't for everyone, but then again what is?

he is an underrated artist,but an overrated guitarist. Altough i dig his simple playing style, but i also crave complexity sometimes. Great artist none the less. just picked up Blunderbuss, Phenomenal album!
