The chorus is great, but the rest of the lyrics are so forced. There's no flow to this song. The lyrics are just awful with the arrangement, especially in the bridge.

We Came As Romans has deep roots in the Christian faith (as well as As I Lay Dying and August Burns Red) so their intention was not to punt a small child off a bridge. If u dont believe me that they are underline Christian then Why is one of the band members stage name Titus which is also a book in the New Testament

Emo as a music genre versus the clothing is a big diffrenece the style is basicly been anexed by other styles that kept and removed what they need the genre isn't really got too many main stream bands left. The genre i used to hear define bands that do this style where called post hard core as in they slow it back a bit and don't get super hardcore in you face with the sound but they don't wus out when its needed. Creating a blend that i love this in no way shape or form is close to emo.

This was my favorite of the four new songs they released, I can't wait to see them for the fourth time on Warped. <3

I feel like the clean vocalist has gotten a lot better, while the harsh vocalist has gotten worse.

Dance music almost exclusively is about the beat, not any particular human emotion. Many forms of more progressive music deal with abstract concepts as opposed to emotion. I know what emo is short for, but you cant deny that in contemporary youth culture the accepted definition is the particular brand of whiny pop-punk displayed in this video and the subculture that accompanies it. Well, in my opinion WCAR have only gotten better with time. They've matured a lot.

I like the cleans in this better but the screams in their older stuff are better in my opinion.

There's a difference between a sound change and a poor mix. I can't be certain because I'm on some pretty crappy earbuds at the moment, but from what I can tell this is quite possibly a very muddy mix and in a professional recording that shouldn't happen. You can get a dark sound (if that's what they're after) without it sounding like mud.

I hate to say this, but Dave's screams are either getting worse, or he is trying something new with them that doesn't sound as good as it used to. His growls are still epic though. Kyle's voice has FOR SURE improved though. And their lyrics are solid and positive as always. Absolutely love these guys.

This song is telling the new age kids don't be a push over don't let others tell you what to do and don't give in to the pressures of stress , gain the courage to be a leader and gain the ability to fight back against others (such as bullies)..very inspirational
