I think I made up my mind..this is my absolute favorite of all Gene and Rhonda duets... I think...maybe...love it.

I love this song and I especially love the two of these voices complimenting each other the way they do. One of the very best iconic country songs sung by two of the best country singers.

Amen Sister! I have worked with Rhonda at our Bluegrass Festival at Grass Valley CA several times, she's a gifted performer, and band leader. Perhaps best of all is her professional and personal way of working with a producer. I have worked with many of the top acts in both Bluegrass and Country Music, some are equal to her her work ethic and talent, but I have never seen anyone exceed here in these areas, Working with her from the booking process and her working with the stage managers, right down to her emphasis on meeting her fans. are as good as they get. Lots of folks put on a good show but are a pain in the butt to work with, Rhonda could give lessons in professionalism. I worked the Festival for about 20 years, no one was easier to work with or put on a better show.

I met both Gene and Rhonda in Nashville... great folks...very talented! Too bad that such good talent such as these folks are crowded off of country radio for country pop. I think that they should brand modern country stations as country pop and bring back real country music for today's times.

I've been a lead singer/frontman since 1987 and I agree 100%. What a total and inconceivable injustice!!
I've never worked in a club where Gene's music wasn't a hit (and in this case Rhonda is the "crowning jewel". If you like country music, it just doesn't get any better than this folks.
I've met and talked to Gene on several occasions and he's such a nice guy......it just seems impossible that he's received so little credit for his contributions to the country music industry.

Fantastic!!!! This is real country music. You can't hear it on the radio anymore. It is too country. Radio country is all JUNK. This is the real deal. I would like to see Rhonda & gene together this year hopefully. Rhonda is coming to our Bluegrass show on July 15th in New Enterprise Pa. Can't wait. Rhonda is always a great performer,very talented. My son and I went to see her in Berryville Va Nov7th 2010, and ended up taking her to the grocery store in my pickup. That was real COOL!!!

My question is when will they put this on radio? They won't. They have forgotten what REAL country music is. And how was Gene Watson and Vern Gosdin always overlooked?

DAMN what harmony

I recall setting in a Song Critique meeting at MCA in 1985, and being told my Song was to Country, she didn't like the words Misery and Leaving, because she had just went through a Divorce. I reminded her this was Nashville, not LA Rock Music City as they had been trying to turn it into and why all the Country Labels were in the Red. They is only ONE Country Singer/ Songwrite out on the "A" List, and that was a New Man named Randy Travis, and then I got up and walked out. Thank you Randy, etc.

I've not seen this vocal pairing prior to this great video. And a great song by two great artists.

Rhonda V is my favorite girl singer. Gene is great on his own, but Rhonda takes him up a notch. This song ranks up there with the best in C&W music.
