Wariner, Steve - Your Memory Lyrics
Your memory, what was it doin' in Miami?
I thought I'd left it far behind me
But I was wrong 'cause it came along
Your memory, how come it followed me to Denver?
That we're all through and I'm over you
Your memory, your memory
Is something I'm not over yet
Your memory, your memory
Your memory don't know the word forget
Your memory was not invited to my party
When it arrived the teardrops started
Reminding me, oh, I'm still not free
Your memory, what was it doin' in my dreams last night?
You'd think by now that I would be all right
Guess it's still no use 'cause I still love you
Your memory, your memory
Is something I'm not over yet
Your memory, your memory
Your memory don't know the word forget
Your memory, your memory
Is something I'm not over yet
Your memory, your memory
Your memory don't know the word forget

Learning to take
The good and the bad!
Todays country music is so generic, they all sing about the same stuff.... trucks , girls in trucks, truck with the tailgate down, drive his truck to the river and of course drinking beer in trucks with a chic on the river bank on a backroad..... that covers about 90 % of the songs that are on the radio today. This song is off the chain , the type of music that can sweep a women off her feet . This was the era of country music that was meant to be danced to .... country at its very best.....

What a great song, by one of the most talented singer-musicians to ever come out of Nashville. And one of the most under-rated! Love you, Steve!😊💒

Even people who aren't crazy about country music, will hear me playing this, and they're blown away!

Awesome,thank you(:
wow I used to really hate this song
now I really love it
rOne of the most under-rated singers of our times....he has always deserved a lot more PR than he's gotten compared to many others who couldn't sing their way out of a paper bag!
I moved to Ca. from Indpls. in the early 80's and didn't discover him till I realized he had sung my life in most of his songs.....later in the early 90's
Chet Adkins considered him his best discovery
I totally agree. Steve will always be one of my favorites!
35 years and I still remember every word. Love his music
I very much agree! Taylor Swift, for example?😒💒
He is awesome have talked to him, he signed my guitar. The arguement over who is best could go a lot of ways next to steve i would pick albert lee.DDT

sounds like a young Glen Campbell
nice song
I like this song I heard it on the way to get materials.
The most underrated artist in country music
I have always said this. He is my favorite artist by a long shot.
I know what you’re saying, Steve Warner was pretty popular the ‘90’s but unfortunately people like Garth Brooks was a lot more popular, despite not being in the same league as Steve in the way of talent.
Not at all underrated. He is well loved.
he wont brag, but the best guitar alive today
+brad dovel That would be Brent Mason
I guess I'm a country dummy cause I wasn't familiar with Steve Wariner until I came across "The Weekend" and loved it....and he has several others I enjoy immensely. Never too old to discover greats from the past.
@Kenjoneslee Nonono, not at all. I think Mr. Wariner is highly underrated amongst the folk.
+Kenjoneslee He started out as part of Dottie Wests band.
Heard this back in the 80s and just now rehearing it....still catchy and fun.
I loved this song the first time I heard it, and I still love it !!
One of the all-time singer songwriter/musicians....
The song that cemented my move from "suit" to country boy. As a corporate suit I didn't listen to much country music and had just moved to a farmhouse. American Country Countdown was on the radio.. then this Steve Wariner song caught my ear.... I had to get this record!! So looking back , thanks Steve.
Good times and memories....this one brings them to the front of my heart and mind.
My favorite Steve Wariner song. Whenever I come across it, it rattles around in my head for hours. Not only is Steve a SUPERB guitarist, he is an excellent vocalist.

Great singer, great song.....today's county music is awful.

We all know what a great guitarist Steve is. And his songs remind us he's a dinamite country singer also.
Awesome song Harry and Darlene. I like this one too! :) Songwriter Chicks! :) - Holli J. Harris
CGP - Great song..!
Great song to two step to. The modern country music is not as good as the 80's & 90's country music.
GREAT ENTERTAINER AND GUITARIST
Great song by good guy and very talented singer / songwriter and musician, fellow native Hoosier Steve Wariner.
