Todays country music is so generic, they all sing about the same stuff.... trucks , girls in trucks, truck with the tailgate down, drive his truck to the river and of course drinking beer in trucks with a chic on the river bank on a backroad..... that covers about 90 % of the songs that are on the radio today. This song is off the chain , the type of music that can sweep a women off her feet . This was the era of country music that was meant to be danced to .... country at its very best.....

I moved to Ca. from Indpls. in the early 80's and didn't discover him till I realized he had sung my life in most of his songs.....later in the early 90's

I know what you’re saying, Steve Warner was pretty popular the ‘90’s but unfortunately people like Garth Brooks was a lot more popular, despite not being in the same league as Steve in the way of talent.

The song that cemented my move from "suit" to country boy. As a corporate suit I didn't listen to much country music and had just moved to a farmhouse. American  Country Countdown was on the radio.. then this Steve Wariner song caught my ear.... I had to get this record!!  So looking back , thanks Steve.
