+eric smith in terms of music ..Kendrick is rubbish.. His got lyrics but his lyrics are just for freestyle..nothing more to it .. Wale got everything bodied .. He produces great songs..he's way poetic than most of them.. He's so consistent .. Wake to my own opinions the best.. Him and jcole .. I can listen to his albums without any dull moment.. I have Kendrick Lamar album but I can't listen to it because it's fucking boring.. His lyrics are tight though .. I wanna feel rap and music with great sound .. Wake got that.. I guess people don't know music anymore so they don't like wale .. Wake is great

@kelechi collins orji I mean I feel you don't get me wrong wale's ambition album is in my top greatest hip hop albums of all time I like every song on that album. I'm just saying that Kendrick makes conscious music that will make you think if you really pay attention to it contributing to winning him 7 grammy awards.  he's very versatile when it comes to his music also he explores all generes from hip hop, soul, pop, r&b and jazz. 

+eric smith yeah you kinda right with lyricists but in terms of good music.. Wale is way better meh.. I can listen to Wale's music forever but for sure you will get tired of listening to Kendrick .. He's very good lyrically but music wise.. I think he's not there with wale and jcole for me

+kelechi collins orji sorry but you sound like a stan. Wale is the coolest. I chose the word coolest because i dont consider him to be one of the best but he is one of my favorites. He reminds me of chance the rapper, Kid Cudi in his early years, and possibly The Cool Kids. Not really comparable to anyone else. They're in their own lane. I like wale for what he is. He's slowly been growing over the years. When he first joined MMG he tried matching their sound and expectations. But he's been doing his own thing again and it works for him. He doesn't even seem to be a member anymore. You have to be a special type to favor his music above everyone else or a girl which is what a lot of his music references to. Take it you like that since you reference drake. But as far as content in the song, Kendrick is dropping the most consistent stuff; pusha t's new album, king los is starting to develop from a freestyle rapper to a song writer. I like wale. But he just isnt top tier.

+TreWillz idk. my top 3 is Kendrick, Cole and Wale. TAAN was full of gems and diversity. if you want lyrical and conscious music he can provide that. White Shoes and The Pessimist is as good as anything put out. Those type of songs aren't appreciated when "He" drops them but if Kendrick dropped those exact same songs he'll get the nominations. All 3 of them to me leading the way
