So awesome he still has that beautiful voice after all these years! Saw John in Tipton, IN. last Saturday night. My husband is a sound tech for JP sound and he did their monitor mix, my sister and I sat stage side and throughly enjoyed an amazing concert! Old songs, new songs we loved it all!!! Such a sweet man met with us afterwards, we took pics. it was just a memorable night for us :) Like my sister said "How often do you get to meet a Rock Star! WOOOHOO! Thanks John ;)

Met John Waite when he was with Bad English opening for White Snake. Very cool guy. Asked of if we were going to the show. When we told him we were on the fourth row, he said he would look at us. He pointed us out from the stage and gave us the thumbs up. Very cool and sincere guy.

Anyone who had followed or was aware of his career (echosyst) would know from his track record that he is quite capable of writing a hit song.

The new CD is excellent...deserves to be heard, but will the label FRONTIERS have the clout to get the thing heard and into the shops?

It's a shame that John is not in the rock n roll Hall of Fame! I have followed John since I was young when he was with the Baby's. What a fabulous artist!

@lepfreak74 Also, this kind of music is not in the mainstream and the budget tends to fade more and more. I would not blame the small record labels. Even as they still are supporting the good music and bringing these fine artists back. This is commendable!

@lepfreak74 Unfortunately there is no sense in spending a fortune on a super video production anymore. It is not really like in the 80's and the reasons are several. One of them and most crucial is the fact that an artist is not even officially released his album and there are millions of unauthorized downloads going through the internet.

Glad to see John speaking up! He's got a great voice! Looking forward to his new record.He's always been a magnificent artist. His music is for for the soul :-)

@echosyst, If you cannot understand what John is saying then you know little or nothing about him. Maybe you are too young to have followed his career and music. I know what he is saying and the people and situations he is referencing since I have listened to his music all the way back to the days when your mom was giving head under the high school bleachers. John has nothing to prove to you our anyone else, he is an excellent musical artist who still wants to express his creativity.

I totally agree. Frontiers and their bands make horribly cheap videos. They must have some very shallow pockets. It's definitely not like the 80's anymore; when record companies and bands would spend a ton of money on a video.
