These are some of the most meaningful and truthful lyrics that I’ve ever heard in a song. They really hit close to home for me, to the point where some of the lines actually get me choked up in areas. No other song has done that for me. Other than their song “Youngblood”. Wage War is definitely one of the best bands in the genre right now. Fucking love them.

I love the aggressive feel behind it but all there songs are sounding the same to me this is like one of those 2 or 3 song bands

So, I'm an atheist and I find it kind of hard to take some Christian bands seriously as I know my own Christian family can be very, very shitty. But, Wage War may be one of the few religious bands that genuinely seem to be good people. This song restored my faith in people who can put humanity before the beliefs of a person in question. I appreciate these guys immensely.

You should check out the Biblical definition of "religion" in the book of James. Jesus himself rebuked religious/legalistic folk. Food for thought. Cheers!

It is. The song had a different name before Wage War changed their band name. I believe it was called Westboro or something along the lines of that. 😊

You know, this song describes my grandmother (on my dad's side, I call her Nanny) a whole lot.
Firstly, she claims to have made an "invention", which, from what I heard, was already invented. (This was, like, 5-6 years ago.) Ever since then, she holds on to the strong belief that she'll be blessed with lots of money, and in my mind, I'm like ". . . after 5-6 years? You're NOT getting that money. (You know how they say money is the root of all evil? In a way, it's that kind of thing.)
Secondly, she accuses my grandfather (her husbands, the one who loves her to death, who basically does EVERYTHING for the house they live in, with NO help) . . . accuses him of having another girlfriend, and after a couple of years, a baby. I know my granddad well enough to know he's NOT that kind of person at all! And on top of that, she doesn't appreciate a fucking thing he does for her! He gives her money just about every week (which she mainly spends on junk/crap), he even bought her a new car (not brand new, but it looks great) . . . she doesn't appreciate any of that. A lot of times, they'll get into arguments, never any physical arguments, though. But here's the thing: she always brings up things like his "girlfriend" or his "baby" (which EVERYONE, but HER, knows is untrue), calls him a deadbeat (which he's, actually, the complete OPPOSITE of), and on top of all that, she brings up God's name nearly ALL THE TIME, like she's God's gift to earth, or something! She's delusional, thinks she's always right, won't stand to be wrong . . . you really think God rewards that kind of attitude? You're DEAD WRONG!! But I can't tell her any of this cause, like I said, she, technically, can't stand the truth. So, I should just keep loving her, as much as I love everyone. That's just the person I am, abd choose to be.
But yeah . . . this song really describes her.

To answer some of your question is yes, they are all devout Christians reaching out to those that think Christianity is a bad thing. It's about loving others as yourself and caring enough to let them know their are people that care about them regardless of the way they dress, look, act, etc. and hate and other such acts again themselves or other people is senseless. They really do care.
