Finally got around to listening to the new album. This is an absolute earworm, people do seem set off by little things these days. But then again theres a pretty big difference between "you dont ship these characters and ive never been so personally insulted" and "this person is literally spouting nazi propaganda to kids we need to do something about that"

I like Voltaire's dog shit analogy, because it is indeed pointless to be offended by something you encountered by chance and can easily avoid. But when someone is constantly, deliberately leaving piles upon piles of dog shit on your yard, or even throwing it at your face (or if the same thing is happening to someone who doesn't deserve it), no one should shame you for calling it out and demanding it stops.

In all seriousness, I work at an ice cream shop, and they let me dp the Halloween decorations. I put up the typical cutesy spooky stuff, little black cats, pumpkins, brooms sticks, and all that. My boss got emails and calls about how "It's not Christain!" And how these twats won't be coming back. Over Casper the Friendly ghost level stuff.

@The Creepoid Can you name examples of small crimes being accidentally punished by death? I do recall one time a police officer shot a black man in front of his wife and kids for having a LEGAL gun in his car, that was appalling. I do agree police brutality is an issue in general but I don't think it's intentional 60% of the time, I think it's the stress of the job, being traumatized by crime, and the fact that we don't have a warrior class so any mentally unstable Joe Schmoe can sign up.

I'll do you one better. Tamir Rice, a kid who was gunned down by police for playing with a toy gun in public. Keep in mind with our recent shootings where people been killed, police try to take the murderers alive, while this kid was killed in cold blood.
