VNV Nation - Solitary (Signals Version) Lyrics

I never forget the first time I Heard this live in 2000 opening for Apotygma and this song the DVD or CD machine broke or something and the entire crowd in Ft Lauderdale sang word for word and stomp and dance and this became the song that still to this day stands out the most for me. I was only a fan for a month when I saw them live and since then I have seen them so many times and when this song comes on that intro, that bass kicks in and I jump up and down with so much adrenaline its like a kid getting his favorite treat and I can listen to this song forever......when I get buried this song needs to be on loop in my grave...lol...wake the dead

@Jeffrey Spring oh I see....yeah it seems like the laws ever since that time period really made ft Lauderdale a drag to hang out...its changing now but obviously older now so not the same atmosphere. Cool you in the tech world. I see that respectable does some kind of gothic night

@david chaves that kind of music is on life support right now. It hasn't innovated enough to get younger fans into the music. Also, for every VNV Nation, there is ten other bands that are absolutely boring to watch live. I went back to listening to progressive metal because at least it's different in every decade.

@Jeffrey Spring its unfortunate....great music but I've always been a metal fan so it's there have been some great bands over theast few years I've seen and listen to like JINJER, VOLBEAT, BE'LAKOR, MOL, POWER TRIP

I saw them live in Plastique Noir in Duisburg, Western Germany in 1998. On that I bought the EP. I was a great night. The Concert was as small as the club, the concert was as good as the club, but VNV Nation were already so great as today..... I saw them Live at the Blackfield Festival in 2009 ..... Oh what really amazing memories....

I never heard this version before. Probably the best one for this song.

I like this version much better than the way it's supposed to be.. it gives the song more of a buildup, which makes everything seem much better.

It sounds like 100 of the best bands in the world got together and spent 5 years doing a remix of Solitary.

I love the begining with the Orchestra type music and how the Vocals Start, VNV Nation is truly one of the greatest bands ever :D
