I once asked Ronan Harris what this song was about specifically. He replied that it was based on WW1 poems written by soldiers. It's essentially about the horrors of war, WW1 mainly.

I don't care what people say..I like both Lady Gaga and VNV Nation. But I agree, the beginning does sound like something that Lady Gaga would do.

I don't see how people think Lady Gaga in this... I imagine like those "future slave scenes" that you see in some movies where they're working with blacksmith hammers, etc.

@MegaTouchy No it's more like Lady Gaga resembles something of VNV Nation. Lady Gaga couldn't get close to VNV Nation in a million years.

I'm actually surprised they haven't used this for a movie trailer, it would be perfect for movies coming out soon, like "Angels and Demons" and "Terminater Salvation". It would be great for apocalyptic movies.
