I came across this singer only a few months ago had never seen or heard him on British tv or radio or on any compilation cd even my dad had never heard of him and he knows a lot of country singers. How this is so I don't know but I am so glad that I have come across this wonderful singer and to think of what I have missed all these years!

I like listening to Vern. I must say that my fav. is 'That Just About Does It' The way it hangs together, & I love that line.

This and "Monteagle" have now become my favourite Vern songs with "Chiseled in Stone" coming a close third. The way he delivers the first chorus of this song is just spectacular.
