Very good and highly underrated Venom album.
Because alot of us feel its not Venom anymore at this point. Almost like they try to sound like the modern bands of the time. This is soooo SODOM sounding...is not Cronos and the boys anymore at this point.

Every Channel Yea and they invented black metal. "Welcome to hell" came out and it has pure black metal trademarks and signitures( for example blastbeats and tremolo). The album "black metal" came out and the music style was born. Many black metal bands of the second wave which you are probably into honored this band and playing several covers by them. Read my earlier post and see, that there are different time periods of music. It all envolved but it's the same genre.
Dont think so dude, they flirted with the black metal theme , but they dont categorize as a black metal , neither first wave, nor second wave. Yeah, as you said, they are one of the pioneers of the black metal but not black metal.
Blackmetal was an emotional faze turned trend, like punk late 80's by time term punk was here it had terned into a pink/green trend....as bm turned into emotional black trend...... Venom gives a fuck on atmosphere.

No Antton played with Mpire of Evil. No confusion there. Antton got pissed off and quit because they were doing Venom cover songs, and he didn't want to be in a Venom cover band.

Fallen Angels kinda sucked ass. At least they rebounded with From the Very Depths. Also, the Venom Inc. album from the Prime Evil lineup is pretty good too.
