Its a reckless thing to do, and is a main reason why i never go to "underground" faggotcore shows. Flailing around in the pit just makes it harder for people to actually mosh, cause of all the elbows and shit that get thrown.

I guess I'm not tough if I don't enjoy getting whipped in the face by some meat head's huge flailing elbow or hand. This happened to me at a show that actually didn't have much crowd killing but more normal moshing but when it did it hit me right in the eyes and instantly I lost my vision and almost fell over cause I was so dazed. Had to leave for the bathroom to collect my shit while one of my favorite songs played, but in the end I was fine. Just not the greatest experience for me and not the way I wanted to spend my night.

And if I had fallen over, hopefully the crowd would've been nice enough to pick me up (which they usually are after smacking you that hard; sure Philly is the same way, I mean brotherly love right?) But if I hadn't been picked up there's no question that I would've been trampled. It's really not worth it to get this rowdy at a show because people can get seriously hurt or die. I'm just lucky I had enough strength and stamina to keep standing and vacate the pit, most other people probably wouldn't. Two black af eyes the next morning but I gotta say it felt kinda bad ass telling people ho it happened. Crowd killers, you do you. no judgement, just try not to kill anyone.
