Me too! Watched Joker earlier today which totally reminded me of King of Comedy so I had to watch it again. Great music in that movie.

it was '93 or '94 that summer was a hot one and I got this CD as a birthday gift. my girlfriend remembered that i had dedicated Brown Eyed Girl to her when i was courting her. so then a few years later she got me this CD and it opened up my eyes to one of the best singer-songwriter that has ever lived! I still listen to VAN, the CD has been long lost. As for my Girlfriend, I dedicated the whole CD to her as we ended our relationship. i hope that when that song comes on the radio, she will think of the good times we shared in this life.

Jeff Powanda wow! I think it may be in my top 5 favorite Scorsese films. Incredibly underrated. Lewis and DeNiro crush it in this movie.

Agreed. A comical study of narcissistic detachment from reality. Pupkin was the ultimate first class schmuck. "I gotta go Liza, yeah I gotta catch a bus."

Jeff Powanda AFTER HOURS is tremendous! Fantastic film. But this is still fantastic to me. Terrific performances (def one of DeNiro’s best most transformative roles) and is dripping with dark comedy and has some of the greatest scenes of discomfort I’ve ever seen in a movie. Sorry you didn’t care for it.

I occasionally pull this CD out and listen. This Gloria and Brown Eyed Girl usually make be ball my eyes out. My wife was my brown eyed girl. I still have my eyes closed in the dark.

My gf of 4 years is also brown eyed hence shes my brown eyed girl! We have this album, moondace and blonde on blonde cds in my car and we always listen to them on road trips which we do pretty often since we really love travelling and its rlly easy in finland were we live! 😊 Edit: we got the cds from my dad!

The King Of  Comedy is one of my favorite movies  and this is an essential compilation album and yes I did vote for Obama but only because I thought war with Russia and Iran was a bad idea. Death to the Republican party. Rip it up and start again cowboy troubadour avatar man.

After Trump it's going to be Rand Paul or Ted Cruz or some other outsider. A democrat outsider would just fine with me. The swamp will be drained . It's not going to happen in 4 or 8 years.
