I love this great singer-/songwriter so much.
A very long time I missed someone like him in Germany.
I am so lucky that I don't have to wait longer because
of the excellent musician Cynthia Nickschas.
She has so much creativity and so many new ideas.
Will she have a comparable long career like him?
I hope so.
And I think so.
But Van I will never overlook, even if he doesn‘t sing anymore.
He is a classic.
But perhaps he never stops.

I was all ready to like this but; it's that someone's timer going off in the background? It needs turning off. The acoustics sound like they're through a shitty DI, and the bass is flappy and oh-so session. This sounds nothing at all like AW.

Actually, it isn't really, if you think about it. It's a spin on it. This seems much looser, much bassier, much dirtier than most all of his work in the last 25 years. It's sort of like Son Volt playing "Listen to The Lion"! His diction seems to be very clear here, too,which is always a good thing.
