uriah heep is a very underrated band and i dont care because more for me then ....

I remember this and all of HEEPS music and many others from the days i was in Panama back in the 70s we all took our LPS 8tracks and put them all on reel t reel not just hrs of good music but days cant do shit like that anymore

I discovered this tune only a couple yrs ago and then sadly a few months later, my dear friend took his own life. this is more of a breakup song but it makes me think of him. RIP Kurt B. Stegall, 7/28/1967 -- 12/23/2016.

Ken Hensley grande talento compositor...

Estes 3 albuns com os 2 novos elementos da banda Trevor Bolder e John Lawton, são excelentes, os fãs do Byron parece que não querem admitir... precisam de dar mais umas audições, vale a pena...

One of the "lights" in a "too poppy" album. Gerry Bron toke the last energy off of the band, Lawton and Kerslake went away and 2 years later Mick Box was alone.

If they had a better manager...the band would have soared higher....

Man I just dig their 4 and 5 part harmonies in a lot of their songs! Especially in songs like "Midnight" and many others:) Some people may not agree with me ( my opinion only ), but the harmonies in this tune, have a bit of a Moody Blues vibe, which I really like!

You're absolutely right!  Without the 4-5 part harmonies that you noted, this tune would hardly carry through.  I'd recommend to you "If I had the Time" (Sweet Freedom) for that harmonious chorus.)  pax

Actually John did record one last record with the band after Fallen Angel...it is now known as the Ten Miles High album..it was recorded in 1979 but scrapped when John Lawton and Kerslake left the band...they took one song from these sessions and applied it to the Conquest album in 1980

There are bands right now making cool quality music like this. Shame that the A&R has little to no interest in quality...

It is the title song from the 1978 album, Fallen Angel. It is the second album they released after John Lawton took over on vocals.

First time I've heard this. Used to have pretty much all the Heep albums with David Byron up thru Sweet Freedom. This is pretty damn good.
