Unearth - Eyes Of Black Lyrics
Fall into line - upon creation - There is hell to pay
Fall into line - life of the mundane - There is hell to pay
Time: Our vengeful warden
Existence brings forth pain and loss
Your end is drawing near
Through all I've seen
These eyes have turned to black
Stonewalled as my credence falls
These eyes have turned to black
Fall into line- death and disease - There is hell to pay
Shatter this life - all consuming - There is hell to pay
Through all I've seen
These eyes have turned to black
Sonewalled as my credence falls
These eyes have turned to black
The end is drawing near - forever black
Your end is near
Through all I've seen
These eyes have turned to black
Stonewalled as my credence falls
These eyes have turned to black
Forever black

Unearth Eyes Of Black Comments
where can i find a tab for this song?
The vid advertised a Myspace gaaawd I'm old.
there is al's toupe!!!!
metalcore!
more metal then a foundry this song..
More metal than a can of beer this song is......
unearth eyes of black official i love this fucking song enjoy this
why the fuck did i forget about this band?
Ha Ha i had the exact same thing. Years ago i liked them a lot and visited their shows! but i just rediscovered them via the related videos during a YouTube trip down memory lane ;)
Of course the show is on the day Im playing with Protest. BULSH!
I dont listen to alot of metalcore but damn unearth is amazing in what they do!
Wrong. The oncoming storm beats it.
That's like saying an AK47 beats a BB gun. TOS is one of the greatest metal albums of all time, and not much I've heard since then can even be put in the same league. It's best left alone
But this shit is probably their best stuff SINCE that epic album.
@Sahil M Where have you been for the last decade? Tons of great albums have been released since then.
I can never get tired of Unearth.
imho, no album will ever beat The March. But still, Darkness in the Light is epic one !
Funnel!
I'll always love unearth's style. Extremely tight.
An unearth beer bong? The fuck is that shit?
Those fucking sweeps at the end of the solo sdgfyuasgdf fuck that was cool.
that's because there is nothing bad anyone can say about unearth unless they just don't like metal
awesome band
I wonder why they left metal blade.
this album is deff them trying to reach into some new ground but for now the march is still my top album by them
liked em a lot years ago and they still kick ass
I like how people are smart enough not to talk shit about this band!
saw these guys a couple weeks ago, i didnt no who they were at first, but after that show i had to check em out. they were amazing live
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
sounds pretty dope!
I didnt, you just posted something about a beer bong and a mosh pit on the day of the Milwaukee Rave show. And one guy was going around giving out beer bongs, and of course there was a moshpit. I'm unbelievably sore right now from it actually. Was just a wild guess I suppose. Rock on.
Were you at the Milwaukee show?
Can't wait to see these guys again on Feb. 4th at the Rave in Milwaukee. Will be so badass. Gotta catch up on their newer stuff like this though. Haven't bought an album since In the Eyes of Fire, which was a disappointment to me. But this song is heavy.
what a about using google? unearth + darkness in the light -> pictures....youll be surprised
I agree. This album took a technical turn, adding more variety. THIS is what metalcore should be.
brutal!
DAMN! i want this picture in the beginning as wallpaper but i cant printscreen it for some reason! :(
No idea :o sounds lame... Unearth is the best! :)
I've listened to these guys for a long time. this album is going to kick ass!
Certain parts remind me of something Pantera would do,like the opening riff,& the breakdown at around 2:10 or so. Justin from KsE tears it up on the drums, also! The whole album is the sickest they have...well this & oncoming storm, but sounds like two different bands now! Still amazing!
Ultra fat cool song. :)
its a comment not a review but u r right
cannot wait for the new album bet it'll be sicker with the new drummer they have
Haha, right? That's pretty neat, actually
the more you know! haha
*Luti-kriss they were Luti-kriss before Norma jean, same guys helped start the chariot
Actually, I didn't.
did you know norma jean's first band name was "Ludacris" until the rapper became well known?
Is he talking about the eyes of a black guy ?
they picked up nick pierce for their permanent drummer, but justin did play on this album yes, who is awesome.
it's the drummer of kSe that plays
Unearth got old. I liked The Oncoming storm but everything after has been so so. I do like the 80's style solos tho! I think I just moved on to a more metal taste. Just my personal opinion. They still go pretty hard
Redneck Metal haha totally describes it
Admittedly, no. However, I still think the old stuff had more creativity in the riff writing, chord sequences and harmonies
That riff would make dime proud. They are coming to dallas in august!
I dont know what your smoking but I want some. Have you listened to the entire album yet?
They used to write good riffs, these days they just do the typical metalcore one-note 'chug-chug' thing
Stupid or non-sence
lol
funny thing is that "luda-kriss" is what norma jean originally called themselves^^
this is by far the most intense album they have done, its loud, obnoxius, and fast. heavy drums and guitar its just plain kick ass. their previous albums were more much more technical and unique. this albums is more towards mainstream sound but they still make it their own which is why i love them, and who one of the few bands left who actually put solos in their songs. i love all their albums and i cant wait to see how the new one sounds with their new dummer which is AMAZING. Unearth \m/
Ken Susi came to my school today and gave a speech, I have never seen so much talent from one guy, Thanks for the autograph man; it was great meeting you.
fucking love this band
GRASPOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
where in graspop
"O, I c wut yu did dere :D"
Hating on Ludacris is just ludicrous! Ha see what I did there.
a true warrior does not arm
Awh man, seriously can't wait until these guys play near me in June! And the riff at 2:03 is one of the coolest sounding things ever :')
Scrolled down to view comments. Saw argument(s). Scrolled right back up to avoid getting involved and to focus more on the music. \m/
I'm just going to provide you with the fact you keep posting verbatim. Not only do you keep feeding a troll, and the fact is you keep reiterating the same fucking thing over and over, you're too asinine to even realize that the first comment is a troll comment. How's that for your depressing illogical and futile attempt at trying to act smart.. Let me reemphasize that I'm a troll, again. I hope that re-posting the same words I use is pathetic attempt at concluding this "debate".
Please keep feeding me, my friend. Trolls gain weight way too easily. :)
Also, to point out that my intelligence is insulting..? I know, ignorant, nonintellectual people find it offensive. Hence you keep commenting. Yes, I do play Call of Duty, never quoted I didn't. I play with friends, I'm sure you dream of those. :)
As by laws of the United States, I'm not near child status, as I am 19 years old.
Secondly, not to reprimand, please revert back to my first comment correcting your false argument. Sorry for the delusive state, doctors fix that.
Thirdly. "CoD" or Call of Duty is a poorly designed game that is published by corporate money whoring bastards. I prefer Battlefield, as I am a Battlefield "Fanboy"
Well, sir. I wouldn't go throwing mental illness jokes and blind jokes when you can't even find that you spelled "fact' wrong.
As previously, I fixed your statement, no need to get mad about my studious tutoring skills.
You spelled "fact" wrong. Here, I'll fix your statement.
"Your name is awesome, and your fact is legitimate. Thanks for your comment, because I'm too illiterate."
All better.
Your such an intelligent person, how haven't you won a Nobel Peace Prize yet?
HOURS upon HOURS.
Pussy metal.
haters gonna hate !
yay see em today in Graz
oh yeah! =)
Glad someone agrees with me! Just something about that era... A7X's "Waking the Fallen" , Killswitch Engage's "Alive or Just Breathing" , AILD's "Frail Words Collapse" , Trivium's "Ascendancy" , August Burns Red's "Thrill Seeker", SOAD's "Toxicity", Through the Eyes of the Dead's "Bloodlust"....I could go on forever
How have I not heard of these guys until recently?!?!?!?
@JoeBurnsBlunts no doubt their best! \m/
if you don't like unearth i got two words for ya
FUCK YEAH ON THE 7TH LAMB OF GOD + THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER + UNEARTH = AWESOME NIGHT CANNOT WAIT!
@carmine5120 You can hate on Ludacris for selling out but not for his association with the rap genre.
@mahala2640 Know what, I'm not even sure.
Damn it! cant find any tabs or lessons for this song...
@brutalfunkcore and neaera ;)
fuck yeah, i will see them together with heaven shall burn and rise to remain
Shut up and enjoy the music! \m/
you cannot fuck with unearth, they have done and will do what they have to every time they need to do it. alot of bands change and ersay mold with the times, but they have always sounded as they are and who they will be, a true metal band
one word, i mean 3: AMIA VENERA LANDSCAPE
I don't see how anyone who listens to this same type of music could be up set, unearth our masters at what they do, cut and dry point, its cool to hear the vocal variations in this compared to their last few attempts which were still epic.
@uzuTheGuardian they remind me of august burns red very much, this is my first time listening btw
The Oncoming Storm is still by far my fav album
WHOOOW WE STILL GOT DECENT METALCORE BANDS WITHOUT THOSE FUCKIN EMO KIDS WHINING
@DarkSyn101 True, i forgot AILD they kick ass too
this album really disappointed me =(
Uneath is one of the few decents bands of metalcore in this times.
This is actually sick! ....anyone who says this aint 'proper' metal can just fuck right off tbh
I'm really sick and tired of people thinking how heavy something is is equivalent to how good it is. If that's the case then Confession is the best band in the world - and when I hear bands like Unearth or more mellow guitar tearing like This Town Needs Guns I just think... as if.
Not that Confession is bad, don't get that idea.
Unearth is Boss....dont compare them to anyone... just listen if you like..if you like AILD more becuase of the vocals thats fine... unearth destroy every venue they are in and do it right \M/
