Underoath - Illuminator Lyrics

Awake, to the sound of emptiness
Alone in a room that's filled with the darkest of light
I was told there was nothing beyond here
How do I know what side I'm on
How do I know what side I'm on
How do I know what side I'm on
How do I know what side I'm on
Bred a captive with nothing but their thoughts engraved in my skin
I don't belong here, but I can't find my exit

This is where they all come to hunt me down, hunt me down
Where they come to hunt me down, they hunt me down

Weigh out the options
Brave the new world
I know what you're thinking
Come on man, I swear you can do this
Come on man, I swear you can do this

I break free from this room they built for me
I break free from this room they built for me

This is where they all come to hunt me down, hunt me down
Where they come to hunt me down, they hunt me down

I tore out my naive eyes, so they locked me up
I tore out my naive eyes, so they locked me up

Preying on the innocent
Preying on the innocent

They're not in it.I think they're just trying to warn us with that symbol. All Lyrics are about the antiNWO and opposite the illuminati thing. The only band that i know in illuminati with "christian" things is P.O.D Look at the "Sleeping Awake" and "Rise of NWO" Maybe they are just like underOATH with their music and lyrics. In sleeping awake, they are singing about a city name called Zion. And Zion is headfigure for Zionism.

THIS SONG HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ILLUMINATI. The title was named by spencer where he was depicting a scene of a candle in a room. It's about being forced in to beliefs from a young age and not knowing what to believe. Don't accuse someone of being in a cult unless you know what you're talking about.

This song has NOTHING to do with the illuminati. It's about kids who were forced into beliefs. Now as far as Aaron leaving, he left for two reasons. First he didn't want to play the same music as the rest. The rest of Underoath wanted to progress into a more mature sound and Aaron wanted to play "poppy" type stuff. Secondly Aaron wanted to make music EXCLUSIVELY about Christ, while the rest of the band is Christian they don't feel like they are ones to tell others what to believe.

I was just the same as everybody, trust me man. I got offended ALOT when people criticized, but until I went into researching and studying and found out the "conspirators" were right. They aren't crazy, they know something that the rest of us are blinded to.

How can they be against the illuminati when their merchandise sports the symbolism like a fad?... it's so obvious they are in it. The illuminati already own the music industry, even the "christian" music industry. They are the ones who started "christian rock". Look it up.

They are no in the illuminati. The shirt is about this song. Illuminati means enlightened one and originally meant Jesus. This song is talking about how the illuminati is taking over the music industry and how they don't wanna be part of it
