Hard song to listen to when you’ve gone through what he’s singing about. When you love someone more than anything, love them so much you’d give them the world and they turn around and throw it all away. It hurts like dying to lose someone you think is like a part of you, especially when it’s for someone else.

I remember hearing about the band ending. One of my best friends that day planned to see them on the last tour. We're from AZ, we flew to Boston for the very last show. With Transit as the soundtrack for that trip it was hands down the greatest experience ever. The best part about that last show was it wasn't just fans. It was family and friends. For that night my friend and I felt part of something really special. It's a show I'll never forget. And this album always gives me those feels, especially since it's the last record.

I don't think it's the worst record ever but it was a slight step back from "listen and forgive". That album had their perfect sound which blended the best of pop punk with the "american football" esque emo sound. Young New England got them sounding more like they're trying to become more mainstream. It wasn't bad though. I liked "weathered souls", "So Long So Long", and "nothing lasts forever". People just expected more.

I'll admit I hated the last album. I think Something Left Behind and Listen and Forgive spoiled me. But you know... I really feel it again with this album. Joyride is like a heartfelt apology for Young New England. Transit is once more the king of Mediterranean pop punk.

I've noticed that when NBC does the Patriots' games they used Transit instrumentals during transitions. Fucking awesome in my opinion.

I'd been waiting months to see Transit in the UK earlier this year, spent the whole time listening to them, and then was involved in a car accident on the evening I was meant to see them.. Devastated was an understatement :(
