It's tough, give it time but you'll learn to be alright enough to get through the days without him. Be grateful you had it, and understand and accept you'll always love this person somewhere in your heart no matter how much time passes. And that's ok.

What happens will happen, not everything has an ending but there are other doors to look into when you're ready. This song is a nice comfort.

I know this song is about a relationship but when I first heard this song I thought about graduating from high school or college and how we are at the finish line and a new race will start but in all the excitement of moving on we can not forget about who we are or what we have done in the past, this song is truly beautiful.

this perfectly describes the relationship i'm currently in, and i don't know what to do because me and this guy have been fighting just to be together (against our parents wishes) for almost a year and a half and when it finally feels like we've almost made it, one of us starts pulling away. it's the saddest feeling in the world to know you had something so beautiul, that you poured your whole heart into, and now it's just gone no matter how hard i try to make myself feel something again.
