Tracy Lawrence - Lessons Learned Lyrics
I was ten years old the day I got caught
With some dime store candy, that I never bought
I hung my head and I faced the wall
As daddy showed me wrong from right
He said this hearts me more than it does you
Is anythings I'm sayin getting through
Is daddy I can see the light
Oh lessons learned, man they sure run deep
They don't go away and they don't come cheap
Oh there's no way around it
'Cause this world turns
on lessons learned
Granddaddy was a man I loved
Even taught me how to drive this truck
Circling that ol' town square
He spoke of life with a slow southern drawl
I never heard him, 'cause I knew it all
But I sure listened when I got the call
That he was no longer there
Oh lessons learned, man they sure run deep
They don't go away and they don't come cheap
Oh there's no way around it
'Cause this world turns
on lessons learned
Oh lessons learned, man they sure run deep
They don't go away and they don't come cheap
Oh there's no way around it
'Cause this world turns
on lessons learned

Tracy Lawrence Lessons Learned Comments
Hopefully, Tracy's quit cigarettes, like he said he wanted to.
Alishia j smith you are teacher I do believe that everything can be a learning experience your part to your lesson is drastic changes call for drastic measures. If you thought that the only way I would change is for something drastic to happen. Change in a positive way is never bad and some times people have experience life themselves or something they did needed to be done because it caused a loves one to leave. But you as the giver of that lesson one being in love with me (not ) and the one that it made leave ( so to say. You should prepare yourself for the amount of time it would take (indefinitely) to be ready to come back once that person you fell in love with learned the lesson you were giving . Don't tell jokes you don't have the punchline to

“This hurts me more than it hurts you.” I used to think that was a joke, but not that I’ve got a baby girl I know that it’s all too true.
The last time I believe I heard a good country song was probably about 2003 now all you have is pop country I guess what you could call it if you can even call that country
I like Phil Stacy cause he doesnt sing through his nose with the forced country voice like this. This kind of vocal is so annoying https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1P4mQeofOZs

I was bringing my father's ashes home from Mesa, AZ with my cousin back home to Bismarck, North Dakota last February. The radio was never on. We talked liked a brother and sister the whole time. It was so sad to see a lone cow in the middle of no where in a field and a cat, when we were gassing up in a small town in New Mexico that we knew the cat's days were numbered, no one loved this precious cat.... Dad's ashes in the back seat. It definitely was a blessed trip. I will forever see that lonely cow in the middle of nowhere and that precious cat that someone should have loved and taken care of.
My wife new what happened with Tracy, but the big wigs fucked him too! I put him up against anybody out there today, He was great.
