I love this song and I love Toto . I grew up in the 80’s and I can’t let go of that beautiful era of music . I miss it so much . 😞

I am 40 years old now and I have absolutely grew into this song. Guess I needed to mature enough to fully appreciate it. Always caught my ear but now more than ever. Had a huge scare and wake up with my love of 19 years, I love and adore her so much. Makes me think how sobering love can be when you have been selfish and how much you really love someone when you feel you have lost that special bond with them. I think if I would have listened to this during that time I would have been laying on the floor in a heap drowning in my tears. To anyone struggling, never give up on hope for your own happiness in life. Though it may not be with the one you want to love, you still must love yourself too.

I've always looked at this beautiful song a little differently. It came out at a time shortly after my Dad died barely 40 from cancer. I remember praying fir him to live and a voice in my heart told me " don't hold him back" and I stopped praying for him to live but rather to go to heaven. He passed within a week. I cant listen to that song without crying. Love to all
