Tori Amos - Lust Lyrics
Hey you gender nectar
Sifting through the grain of gold
Tripping at your door is that you.
Alpha in her blood
And when the woman lies
Rolling and unrolling
Coiling emerging
Running free
Running through the underworld int your room
Is he real or a ghost-lie
She feels she isn't hear
And the veil tears and rages till her voices are remembered
And his secrets can be told
Crystalline from the vine
You know you'll drink her
Rolling and unrolling
Coiling emerging
Funning free running through
The afterworld intoyour room
So she prays
For a prankster and lust
In the marriage bed
And he waits till she can give
And he waits and he waits

I met this song because "Charmed"
I remember slow dancing to this with my husband, in his candlelit room, to this song, and many many others, the night that we had our first date, despite already having fallen deeply in love with one another. Although it was nearly twenty years ago, I remember that night so vividly. The way that we ordered takeout, and let it go cold, and then bad, in his dresser. The scent of Nag Champa heavy in the air. The way that I learned that people weren't lying when they said that they cried happy tears. Just as I did when he knelt in front of me, and told me that he was so in love with me. Since then we have stayed in suites at expensive resorts and hotels. We have been many places, seen and endured much. But I've never been any where more beautiful than his small bedroom, on that night. 😊😍😊
Love this. Beautiful! Thanks Tori for sharing your gifts. So nicely done.
