Tori Amos - A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square Lyrics
That certain night, the night we met
There was magic abroad in the air
There were angels dining at the Ritz
And a nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
But I'm perfectly willing to swear
That when you turned and smiled at me
A nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
The streets of town were paved with stars
It was such a romantic affair
And as we kissed and said goodnight
A nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
I know 'cause I was there
That night in Berkeley Square

Inefável essa série
Ineffable husbands... GOOD...
Before watching Good Omens: Okay, time to stop shipping everyone in every tv show I watch
After a marathon of Good Omens: ....MOTHERF-
A typical case of "If not for gay reasons, then why?"
I'm not crying, I'm not crying...
shit, i'm so gay now. #IneffableHusbands <3 <3 <3 <3
Maybe I'm alone, but I cried during this, thinking about Terry... missing him.
I freaking lost it when I heard "There were angels dining at the Ritz" and the freaking camera going away on them laughing and being happy together I literally started to tear up
So romantic.. How much love.. <3
" they are in a relationship or not? "
is really important???
I thing that the point of their relationship is thay they love eachother, not like boyfriends, not like friends, they love each other in a deep way thay we can't relate because, they are not human, they don't have the same thought of a relationship as we got, they love eachother, not matter what type love it is, and we can't pretend to relate with that relationship
(( but, if you want to find lgtb representation in this show, go forward, it's nothing wrong, I do that too))
I need to know what's the violing song playing in the scene where Crowley saves the books from the bomb at the church and hands them to Aziraphale.... That is the most romantic song ever and I can't find it!!!
SAME IT JUST SO GOOD
Are you talking about Somebody to Love by Queen?
Marianita Bustos I was looking for it too—- but unfortunately it’s not there. But ‘all change’ is a close one to that except it should be slower
@A A no dude, wrong scene.
I’m doing an erotic dance for my boyfriend. You ruined it, I was in the zone, my boyfriend are loving it.
They are so ridiculously in love, it's honestly ridiculous.
what a pretty song about friendship :) :) :)
oh my god
A very good show and a very faithful adaptation of a brilliant book but can someone please explain something to me. Why do people seem to demand that they were in love, isn't it even more special if they were so close as friends that they were willing to die for each other that is some intense loyalty. This all came about when Crowly said "I've lost my best friend" now he is a daemon so he isn't bound by any Biblical law so he can be openly gay, so if he truly felt romanticism towards Az would he not say "I've lost the man I love" or something along that line.
Would like to know peoples thoughts and opinions.
I personally think that they both love each other, but it doesnt have to be romantically speaking.
@Alexia S.A. Yeah I got the feeling that it was more brotherly love than romantic.
Me: I'm not a very romantic person
Also me: *smiles ear to ear and lightly claps at the finale*
So romantic song ever
"To the World "

Two angels having dinner at the Ritz whilst the nightingale sings in Berkeley Square, not very apart because they are not gay
I can't be the only one that nearly cried to this song when I realized that THE INEFFABLE HUSBANDS WERE BECOMING _REAL_
Bitch I didn't cry during the whole show but this song BROKE ME, I feel you
No my friend...here I am! I almost did it too!
Beautiful
Does this mean the kissed after their date at Ritz?
I hope so
@Vintress same
Probably the best chemistry between characters I have ever seen in television! They don't need to say I love you to eachother and yet it's still the most romantic thing ever
Now, Please explain to me how, in anyway shape or form, is this heterosexual?
See, you can’t.
BECAUSE IT’S SO GAY
Angels, and by extension demons, are sexless, and also all sexes at the same time. Its both straight and gay at the same time
His Username they’re just Bi at this point but ya know I’m here for it
My asexual non-binary angels living in a wonderful queerplatonic relationship. This show has done something that no other show - to my knowledge - has done. The representation for the extended queer community is something, as an Ace NB person, I can't put into words because we've never had it before. Neil Gaiman, Michael Sheen, David Tennant and Douglas McKinnon are true national treasures for putting this on our screens.
Knew they were in love since it rained in Eden an Aziraphale held his wing over Crowley's head. <3
Saaame ❤️
Aaand reading the comments I feel I'm gonna get lots of hate here, but both here and in the book, what I perceive is a deep, beautiful friendship. Perfectly ok with people seing them as a couple...it's probably just that I consider that kind of friendship not inferior to romantic love. Anyway I can totally see how they brought the "clueless gay" trope to its full potential with this show, when Crowley saved Aziraphael in WW2 I instinctively tought "gonna find myself someone who looks at me like Azi looks at Crowley...."
Hmmm.. If Neil Gaiman himself didn't say he wrote the show as a ROMANCE, I would definitely understand your feelings about the series, but it is a love story, not a friendship story, although I would definitely love to see more stories about deep and meaningful friendships like this, but this particular case is absolutely romantic.
@Vickyslyth to each its own I suppose. It all burns down to how one perceives the world romantic: friendship is an expression of love in my view. A friend act towards another to benefit them without looking for a reward, simply because they enjoy the company of the other; that is to me an expression of love.
Friendship is beautiful! Deep, platonic relationships are beautiful. Harmless headcanons are valid. Love is love, regardless of labels. You are very valid. Let's celebrate love in all its forms <3
I never saw any romantic love when I read the book. But watching this series and seeing the chemistry between the actors, it's hard for me not to buy it.
Yes, the most appropriate song for a couple of friends, totally
Yeah... "Just magic friends" right ;)
always turn that song up when I'm with my besties, yea. XD
To the world.
To the world!
@Emerson Malcolm To the world! 😭😭😭
To the world.
To the world 🍷🍷🍻
To the world :)
A perfect song for a perfect ending.
As a fan of the book I was hoping they'd end on this song but, listen, I was NOT prepared!! That was the most romantic shit I've ever seen. What a gorgeous cover.

Thank you
Deep down you're both a good person and just enough of a bastard to be worth knowing
explain this ending to me straights, EXPLAIN
THIS HONESTLY COULD NOT BE ANY MORE ROMANTIC
Simple explanation. Love is love. And nothing can stand against love, my friend <3
I have had bromantic dinners with my friends. M.
Well this didn’t goes _straight_ as I planned to
If anyone wants to download this song - here's the link where the site will allow you to download it: https://y2mate.com/
they are so obviously in love this song just sealed the deal
It filled my heart so much that I could witness a finale so romantic and beautiful for these two. Thank you Good Omens, they deserve to be happy...
That was one of the most amazing examples of screen chemistry ever. It's sort of a shame they never acted together before, while on the other hand it's perfect, because we got to see these two together for the first time in the best way possible. Think I'm in love with both of them!
They were both in Bright Young Things together. Don' t know if they actually had any scenes together, I haven't seen it. But you could check it out. They do have amazing chemistry together!
Já tô vendo até os BR chegando daqui uns dias kk❤🇧🇷
Tem eu aqui AUSHAUSHAU
Eu tô aqui tbm kkk
Blz maluko >u•
They are married, people. MARRIED.
they both walked down the aisle in 1941... this imagery... honestly...
@Whispy Oh my god you're right. They're even more married than I thought.
@Whispy omg i didnt even notice! ineffable husbands all the way yay
I've just lost my Best friend!
"SOMEONE JUST KILLED MY BEST FRIEND...BASTARDS!"...
I'm so sorry to hear it
@Akrinor Noname "So did you go to Alpha Centuri?"
"Nah I changed my mind...I lost my best friend"
"I'm sorry to hear that"
This song is just perfect
"I'd just like to say," he said, "if we don't get out of this, that . . . I'll have known, deep down inside, that there was a spark of goodness in you."
"That's right," said Crowley bitterly. "Make my day."
Totally platonic friendship of an angel and demon right here... Sure sure sure 😇💞😈
Can't wait for good omens season two 😁
@Ken Evanska well Neil Gaiman said they wouldn't do another one as the other author terry Pratchett is dead I don't think so sorry mate my sister told after I watched the end of the series but I would highly recommend the screen play book it has some scenes that weren't in the series like Crowley calling Michael a wanka just form that scene I highly recommend the book.
@Ahab Mc one-leg Thanks going to look for it 😊
@Ken Evanska its the script book and have fun reading it!
Even though I know it's unlikely, I'd really love to see more of these amazing characters, and the finale left SO MUCH room for potential further storytelling that I can't help but hope 😁
Not happening, but there's fan fiction XD
A wonderful piece
Шипперю этих двух идиотов и наслаждаюсь жизнью
