This version is bad, the sound is bad, you should listen to the studio version. Nobody can post it? It seems to be locked. Unknown song, unknown musician (or very underrated); If you block it, nobody will ever know him and consequently nobody want to buy something from him. This is very dumb.

I found the studio version under "Tommy Tutone - Topic" , plus I have the album on vinyl.

They are a good band to study if you want to hear a tight pop rock band. A good rhythm section makes a band and they had it.

The common definition of one hit wonder is a band that has only one top 40 hit. This song reached the top 40 and therefore the band was not a one hit wonder

Having other good songs doesn't mean they're not a one hit wonder. They could have 100 amazing songs, but only having one hit is where the title comes from

This song is proof positive that Tommy Tutone was not a one hit wonder as most commonly assume.

I've seen much worse performers become way more successful. A few that come to mind are Neil Young, Metallica, Kurt Cobain couldn't hold a tune but is considered a rock god, neither could Courtney Love, The Doors, specifically Jim Morrison writer of great poems horrible singer... I could go on and on. Tommy Tutone is much better than you want to give him credit for. He is no Placido Domingo sure but, he adds soul and feeling to every performance and that is what makes music rememberable.

These guys were way underrated. They put out a couple of really good albums in the 80's. It's a shame they didn't get more airplay, Tommy Tuntone 2 kicks.

This came out before I was born but these guys were cool. I liked there other hit "jenny" too, it was released the year I was born. Something about the 80s was just awesome.
