This brings me back when I was a kid . It was night and I was walking with my mom home from shopping and then I saw this man under the dim street light .To this day that scene has a big influnce on me and I really don't know why .I think all of us can find some chunks of our childhood in tom waits music...

How about finding out rather than making assumptions and judging on appearances? Tom Waits is married with three kids, and hasn't had a drink in nearly two decades. Done charity work, and writes music with his wife. A very well adjusted family man, with a great sense of humor and a flair for theatre, and creating characters with his music, through his lyrics, his style, and his stories.
