Tom Jones - Only A Fool Breaks His Own Heart Lyrics

Why do I go on fooling myself
When I know you love somebody else
Only a fool, breaks his own heart
I pretend I don't see
You walking with him on the street
Only a fool, breaks his own heart
I have to admit, even though it hurt me so
I can't forget. If I'm a man, I'll let you go
There's no sense in holding on
To an old love that's gone
Only a fool, breaks his own heart
I have to accept, even though it hurt me so
I can't forget. If I'm a man, I'll let you go
There's no sense in holding on
To an old love that's gone
Only a fool, breaks his own heart
Only a fool, breaks his own heart

If this version is so outrageous... Then why Sparrow's version has millions of views and this doesn't? I just wonder... As for me, I rather cry with Sparrow's version...

.................love is still here just look more acutely..........and hearts don>t break.....they fall down....pick it up .dust it off and keep on looking for that Love you desire......IT COULD BE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU OR UNDER YOUR ARMS.....but your nose keeps getting in the way......In this space and time please stop looking for perfection ...especially where LOVE is concern...or you will always be disappointed.........Love ya still..and always will........eeperience speaks.........

This song was recorded in 1968. Very beautifull song of Norman Bergen and Shelly Coburn.
I believe this is the best interpretation of Tom Jones.

Álbum "Delilah" (1968). En español se tituló "Tómame" (Take me), por una de sus canciones. En este no estaba incluida la canción "Dalilah", pero sí otra canción que no aparecía en el álbum editado para países anglófonos.

Marle de bakker I think the original was by The mighty Sparrow.
