Jesse Leach truly is one of the best vocalists I've ever heard of.

Love the lyrics to this song and the whole album. Would much rather have uplifting lyrics like this in all music, it's a rare thing to find. Most music nowadays has either incredibly stupid lyrics or it's all about sex.

Keith Ritchie For Today is a little harder but the lyrics very uplifting and powerful, idk if you like August burns red, they're good too

I believe adam in some way believe in God and I also believe a lot of his songs talk about God. Like this song for example. It could be for a person but the more you pay attention to the lyrics you see that hes refering to something more than a person.

But by your logic if queen would've sounded different had they come out today and Times of Grace would've sounded different had they come out in the seventies (no doubt thats true) does that attribute a bands greatness to musicality or endurance of time? It's like saying queen's bohemian rhapsody wouldn't be as good had it come out last year and times of grace's willing would be better had it come out in the 70s.

Think about it, Queen became popular because of their pure talent and from advertisement on the radio and such, there was no internet back then, they didnt need it, and they still became one of the most popular and most influential bands in existance, Times of Grace has more media and publicity options than Queen and yet not alot of people know about them, the songs wouldve been molded by the 70s and would sound different if they came out before Queen, and so would Queen if it came after ToT

It's actually quite dark... The End Of Eternity, Until The End Of Days, Fall From Grace...
Jesse even said that he wrote the first 2 when he was actually contemplating suicide.
Also, the song Hymn Of A Broken Man has no positive spin at all, it's entirely mourning the weakness, pain and apathy that people can have. The most positive lyric in that song is an ominous "God save you, God save your soul".
But yeah, there is some bright stuff like Worlds Apart and Hope Remains in there too.

If we're talking about THIS Jesse, then I completely agree, 100%. If we're talking about Jesse from early KsE, then Howard was better. Jesse's voice is much less harsh now when he screams. And it overall sounds better.. I thought that bringing Jesse back would just kill KsE for me.. but not anymore. Welcome back Jesse.. Do an album WITH Howard and I will forever be happy

He doesn't have any children, he just wasn't used to life on the road. He missed his wife, he was dealing with depression, and he didn't know how to control his Thu'um. So he quits, and does TESF and TOG for a while. KsE gets a tank of a singer, pumps out 3 albums with him, then HE leaves due to diabetes and lack of passion when recording album 6. KsE auditions for a new singer, when who should turn up but the prodigal son himself!?
Now we wait eagerly for KsE 6.

Yeah, I wasn't really impressed with their first album either until I heard he was coming back. I got used to his voice and thought it wasn't horrible. Now in Times of Grace, he's doing much better. I've commented on this video a few times now. Can't stop watching.

I heard KSE before Howard and wasn't impressed so when Howard decided to leave I was so freakin disapointed....HOWEVER I just found Time of Grace by accident and I gotta say I think I'm ok with Jesse coming back now.....He's really improved.

yeah I just went and looked into it. Well KsE just stepped up in a big way in my opinion. Howard was a decent replacement for Jesse but never hit it like I thought Jesse did in the OG Release. Big step for KsE. Just hoping he can do both projects because Times of Grace is an amazing group

It's been confirmed for a while. He auditioned for the spot of Howard after he left, and KSE took him back. They're in the process of making a new album.
