Pam is just one the greatest of country singers ever and she was the most country during the 90's over what her peers were presenting. Yes, a few cornball songs here and there as country does, but for those in the know, she was always a home run hitter with her vocal prowess. Maybe go back some time and revisit a greatest hit or two!
I love Pam too, but in my opinion Johnny Cash is the greatest.

Wow! I never liked her songs from the early 90s. It is amazing how good she sounds with a really great song. She knocked it out of the ballpark! I never have been able to say this, but I do believe I find her version to be better than Patsy's. Pam doesn't yelp, takes the song nice and easy, and bluesy. And, to boot, she looked beautiful in this video - I love her eyes! I am going to get this song downloaded onto my android.
