  1. r.... w....

  2. S.... C....

One of my favourite Lizzy songs.

  3. D.... H....

Lucky to have seen em on the thunder n lightening tour in notts , no longer have tour t- shirt sadly , but memories remain , Great night ! One of the top rock bands ever !!

  4. C.... M....

a heavy, heartfelt song, full of sorrow and gravitas from the masters from Lizzy.  In many songs, Phil speaks about trying to "warn" us of things.  I think it was his way of warning us all of the heavy sorrow and turbulence he himself felt.  I finished reading his biography about 3 weeks ago, and it was one of the best rock biographies I ever read 9and I've read a dozen)..  For all you fellow Lizzy fans, you can find his biography in the libraries (don't remember author.

  5. v.... ....

The last song from Phil... he died in a heart-attack🤤

    v.... ....

He officially died from pneumonia and sepsis.

  6. M.... ....

Did this tune invent the saying "driving song" or ??

  10. S.... U....

The Last album they released before breaking up in 1984

    S.... U....

In reply to stare care if there was no break up the heart and soul Phil lynott died. And this song just tells about his tortured soul and his body and mind couldn't take anymore

  11. S.... U....

This is about life and death

  12. S.... C....

thin lizzy rocks with this tune my favorite band

  13. M.... K....

    Staszek say: it's good song

  14. M.... ....

Great song, awesome bass line,Phil was amazing.

  15. L.... B....

I'll never ever forget first hearing these poignant lyrics unfurl from the speakers. Heartbreaking. That key change on the chorus is chilling. Phil well knew he was not only done but ready to leave. I hope his dear parents never had to listen to this. Powerful song but heavy on the heart. ~♡

    L.... B....

"Got to Give it Up" is almost as heavy. The writing was on the wall for years.

  16. T.... B....

i really felt that line i love that girl but she dont love me back

    T.... B....

yea me too and very recently its still relevant to my life...

    T.... B....

    HA GAYYYYYYYYY!

  17. L.... B....

The most 80s song Thin Lizzy ever did.

  18. W.... E....

  19. S.... B....

    Hi Phil : /

  20. N.... ....

Phil Lynott still lives through his awesome music.  Bands like these will live forever!

  21. m.... r....

i find it ironic and creepy this was the last song on the last album phil lynott ever did with thin lizzy. talk about a message in the lyrics, nobody thought anything of it then but it resonance now. RIP phil.

    m.... r....

It gives so much value to this song, great album... My favorite song is "Someday She's going to hit back" everytime I listen to that it's like I'm not in this world, I tell to myself its a "outerspace music"

    m.... r....

True, but Lynott is an ingenious lyricist and song writer, and the 'heart attack' in this case is used as an allegory to describe total and utter heartbreak rather than a literal heart attack. So, if you see it merely as symbolism (as Phil intended), it's a lot less eerie and more enjoyable :)

    m.... r....

In retrospect SO many of his songs seem to have been autobiographical knowing what we now know about Phil.

    m.... r....

    Sure . We miss Phil.

  22. w.... ....

By far you, Gorham, Moore, and White produced the most heart felt, passionate guitar work Ive ever heard....from 1975-81 you guys, IMO, the best band on the planet.

  23. r.... w....

the sykes/gorham era was pretty heavy

  24. B.... ....

Give me real music everyday, you can keep the boy bands, and girlie singers. Should of been a single, but still a great song. This is ass kickin awesome!

  25. j.... ....

Who does this incredible solo ??? Sykes or Gorham ..it sounds Sykes style. Whoever, this solo is so intensive..

    j.... ....

I mean it was long, long ago when you asked this question, but I'd like to answer you anyway. I'm absolutely sure this solo is by Scott Gorham: it's not as flash-like as many of the Sykes solos on this album (the long solo of T&L, Cold Sweat, etc.), but it perfectly fits the mood of the song. I would rate this solo as one of the best Gorham solos in his Lizzy time, among his Chinatown solo and a few earlier ones such as on Downtown Sundown, Fighting my way Back or Got to give it up

  26. M.... ....

Overall this is a very good record. This is one of the best songs on the album. Great keyboards and guitar.

  27. j.... ....

yeah exactly, love thin lizzy and iron maiden.

  28. S.... ....

overdose overdose overdose! what a song..!

  29. L.... ....

Double axe action all *teh* way.

  30. L.... ....

Great double guitar action on that one. Thin Lizzy is a band name that will hall through the ether until I take my last breath - or much, much longer. Rock doesn't get much better than this.
