Interesting facts: the first place that they show up is The Summit which was an NBA arena often used for concerts (slayer, megadeth, anthrax, judas priest, testament all played there). The second place is The Axiom (I saw morbid angel, deicide, immolation, gorguts, cannibal corpse, and countless others play there). Here's the kicker: In the video, they see Testament being placed on the Summit sign only to become New Testament Conference. The Summit is now Lakewood Church. I could not make that up. Just sayin'

When Testament released "The new order" in 1988, this was one of the songs. It was actually a huge album back then cause Testament was a staple of the metal scene back then. That whole album is really good.

I never realized til just now that this song was an Aerosmith song, Wich is kind of weird being in my 40s and all, haha!

In my opinion, Aerosmith version is more powerfull, and more evil. This version is a rapid playing of the original version with a trashier distortion, trashier voice and rudimentary drums with poor feeling from the original.

Mook? It's a cop out because he can't hit the notes like Steven Tyler could. Listen to the original, this is only an okay copy. Even though this supposed to be "thrash metal", the original version by Aerosmith was/is heavier.

That video was filmed in Houston and the last place was a real club called The Axiom where all the classic concert went down between 1987-1992 Cannibal Corpse, Gwar, Grave, Morbid Angel, GG Alien, even Nitvana played there on their first tour in front of 12 people.

Aerosmith's song is cool but Testament's is better. I feel like fans of the original are coming here with some kind of preconceived notion, Testament is Thrash Metal if you don't know them. This is like a Thrash version of it, it's not meant to be the same.

Testaments version is great, but Steven is a far superior singer to Chuck.

My friend and I were going to cover this for our new project, and NOW, now LOL, I'm having second thoughts. I love this.

My bandmate says he likes the original better, this version has less groove. I think we're going to try doing this with more of an original feel. I'll post on here or something when it's done.

Great cover - but even though the guitars are more distorted, it's still not as heavy or as "evil" as the original Aerosmith version. And I bet Testament themselves would agree with me!
