Back in the late Sixties early 70's I saw the Temptations perform this Masterpiece...the dance moves they did with the song brought the House Down..the band leader at the time was Gil Askey..........he had the band " humming " that night we gave the Temps and the band a well deserved standing ovation !!!!!!!

Imagine hearing this in the military, late 60s, stationed in Japan.........WOW..........

I put the bottom part broken off a grocery cart under the box and rigged a daring ride strung from a tree in the back yard...I was 15 years old charged folks 5cents and played thru the window the Supremes and the temptations together. . haha ...;lol

Walter you sound like you from my part of the world. I first heard this jam at age 9 in a place called East St Louis, Illinois. This to me was the jam of the entire album.

@Eric Harper Sr Kinda prefer The Jacksons' fun version of Hum Along, but Take a Stroll is on the level of Duke Ellington ... who said toodle-oo to East St Louis once upon a time.
