This is my favorite song on the album. It's the perfect fusion of modern Tegan and Sara fused with their older stuff. The Con and Sainthood are my favorite albums by them. But Love You to Death and Heartthrob are guilty pleasures to listen to. You wonderful ladies keep making magic!

I hate the sound/production of this song, but the concept definitely has some kind of The Con vibe.👌especially the outro.

This one had to grow on me. (And I'm glad it did!) The new CD/Album is nothing short of amazing. While I've always been a fan of anything Tegan and Sara have released (including LOVE YOU TO DEATH), this body of work is definitely one of my favorites from the first to last tracks! I love that they've revisited old songs that they've written and found new arrangements to make them sounds modern. Also, the inclusion of guitars and actual drums back into the equation make everything sounds so pure and raw.

The title actually creates a kind of Paradox. It implies we should also not trust the messenger. So even if we trusted the messenger, it could be that they are under duress and we actually should believe them.

Love it! I’m so happy we have them using their guitars again, I’ve missed it the last couple albums. I wasn’t ready for that small guitar solo, it was simple but effective and worked well with the song. Don’t know about anyone else, but I feel this song could have had an extra minute or two.
