Teenage Fanclub - Start Again Lyrics

I don't know if you can hear me
I'm feeling down and can't think clearly
Even though it's complicated
We've got time to start again
I don't know if you can hear me

Some things I'd change but it's too late
I'd take the past and make it straight
Even though it's complicated
We've got time to start again
I don't know if you can hear me

I'm sorry for the things I've said
But some thoughts just won't leave my head
Even though it's complicated
We've got time to start again
I don't know if you can hear me

Even though it's complicated
We've got time to start again
I don't know if you can hear me

As Scottish as Auld Lang Syne.

  4. N.... R....

I like to imagine an alternate universe where Teenage Fanclub was one of the biggest bands in the 90s and Oasis was a less known, yet still really good, band.

TEENAGE FANCLUB are one of the best bands ever

    n.... ....

So, so underrated. Best band to chill and have a few.

  22. o.... ....

Im finding this music , finding it again. cause im at a low. jesus is it low... what kind of desperation am i where i find solitude in music. Not people. there are no people to confide in. Just the best of someone personality in immortal form. this is unreal but at least it keeps me going for a while.

    o.... ....

+odiumimbues Hang in there mate, things may start looking up again.

    o.... ....

Hang in there. Things can be good again. Just keep listening to the music.

  24. F.... P....

    @skollettivo invErso

  25. M.... ....

    Severely underrated group.

    M.... ....

+MichaelCasanovaMusic well isn't that the truth!

  26. a.... ....

Wow, Big Star #1 Record coming through loud and clear in this song. That's a good thing.

  27. J.... S....

A consistently underrated band. The vocals are simply amazing on this record; I would put them up against the best Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young or Byrds song. To John O'Shea, this album is much more along the lines of Rubber Soul than Revolver. Saw them in 96 with Weezer; everyone was there for Weezer and yet Teenage Fanclub (as the opener) blew them out of the damn water.

  28. S.... ....

I had eaten some pot brownies by myself and was in a shitty, negative mood - then I put this song on and it fucking lifted me out of it. Amazing!!! They have that power!

  29. s.... ....

    @flemwad what a gig!

  30. G.... C....

    *****otherworldly.

  31. P.... ....

my favorite Teenage Fanclub album! I don't know how this album wasn't a worldwide number one hit. oh now I remember...most people have no fecking taste!

  32. B.... B....

What an amazing guitar sound. I'm still puzzled that they left it off their greatest hits album.

    B.... B....

Not enough room on the album! So many hits, so many great songs.

  33. V.... ....

TEENAGE FANCLUB are one of the best bands ever. Unpretentious to the core, they celebrate harmony in their music and earnest sentiment in their lyrics. 'Start Again' is the first part of a barnstorming opening to their classic album Songs From Northern Britain (followed by Aint that Enough and I Dont Want Control Of You).

I love em, and they are gonna be at the Bowlie Weekender: Part 2 (around ten years in the making!) in December. It's gonna be major, so check it out!

  34. V.... ....

@poughkeepsiejohn1 so true, and I'm seein the Fannies at the 2nd Bowlie Weekender, in december. Be there or be rectangular, TF fans!

  35. V.... ....

@mistyred8 totally agree, and am gonna see 'em at the 2nd Bowlie Weekender at the end of the year! Be there or be rectangular! TF rules, every album has a different sound.

  36. j.... ....

    @Pai3000
    Great insight, pal.

  37. j.... ....

A friend burned me a copy of this album years ago. For whatever reasons I never listened to it. At the beginning of the week, I discovered the disc in my file cabinet at work. I put it and immediately fell for this song. What a great opener! So, as the week meets the weekend, I'm learning more of this album. Great band....

  38. h.... ....

the absolute absence of comments for this tune perplexes/intrigues/feckin annoys.

i don't know if you can hear me.

  39. P.... Y....

    Great quality! TY! X

  40. P.... ....

I never believed in reconciling but still... They captured the feeling perfectly. This thing should be studied in music academies. I LOVE this band.

  41. J.... O....

This is probably the closest the alternative rock or grunge generation has come to making a "Rubber Soul" or "Revolver"-like album. It's really that great.

  42. A.... ....

its so good i dont know what to say....

    Magic

  43. f.... ....

One of my favourite all time songs...Whenever I hear this song I get a flashback to the time I saw them supporting the Pixies..It was so good to hear it then I nearly cried lol....thx for posting
