Taproot No Surrender Comments
So facial hair has changed a lot
taproot one of the best nu metal bands
The life experience I never had... TAPROOT and CHEVELLE in one concert! could you imagine...
Love this guys voice
what is this video all about?
About TNA
Taproot is totally underrated! I didn't even know they were still around until I checked out youtube! They need more play I love these guys!
Aj Styles & Kurt Angle should have won the tag titles against Bad Influence at No Surrender 2012.
TNA No Surrender 2012 led me here. The best match that year was AJ Styles & Kurt Angle vs Daniels & Kazarian for the TNA Tag Team titles. Especially one of the Tag Lines was AJ wants revenge for what Daniels & Kazarian put him through the past number of months with that Claire Lynch woman.
Don't know about the rest of the CD but I like this song
good song, I've listened to this song forever
4:06 Dryden Mitchell, is that you?!
i really wished they completed this saga
Always love this song, incredible band!
That mustache!
The absolute toppest of the top shelf songwriting on display here, great lyrics, music that will move you to tears...what the fuck is wrong with the world where these guys aren't fucking Nickelback famous?!?! This is true ART that is to pure to replicate and too rare to die...the world will come around to Taproot's way of thinking eventually, NOT the other way around. THIS SHIT IS THE MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD NOTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
man 2012 was a awesome year wish I could go back. middle school days
Cool song and awesome video! You, guys, rule! You create real rock which brings pleasure both to my ears and my soul!
<3. Stephen Richards!
im from India and ive been listening to taproot for quite a few years. they r one of my all time fav bands. but ive never checkd their videos out on youtube. today i wanted to as i got an internet connection. im bit shocked about 2 things which i wanna share. first , i did not expect so many haters. (atleast according to me.) i know ppl have their own taste. so i could get over that... and the second is the number of views... i mean i imagined there would atleast be a few million views... thumbs up or down, TAPROOT IS UNDERRATED........
+Nandy vj what you said exactly.
Today's "music fans" only like music from a cookie cutter(all sounds alike). They're afraid of originality.
+End Game absolutely man..
yeah man i think they were most known back in the early 2000s and i know man its shame how some bands just fall threw or people forget but they will always be one of my fav bands
Nandy vj pretty sad such a good band along with many others don't get the recognition they truly deserve! Just have to savor the awesomeness and hope others will follow one day
this is a fucking great song and video, shut the fuck up u haters
Please come back Taproot, your community needs you.
They writing a new album right now, apparently. At least according to Wikipedia.
Dalai Llama supposed to release by end of this year or in 2019
Stillneed u in 2019
Drums by Mario the plumber
The lyrics are brilliant :)
WOW they have changed a lot since back in the day!
Chi town representin!!! Idk if anyone has noticed but this video was shot in dt Chicago. I love this band I've been listening to them since gift, welcome is personally my favorite with the song "art" being my favorite.
Evan Williams x I know it's a couple years old but also the label they were on when this video was released was Victory Records...which is also in Chicago.
POLSKA GRUPA FANÓW NA FACEBBBOK'U https://www.facebook.com/groups/742529669141432/
still chunky. love the harmony on the vocals as eva....
116 people have no musical taste.
I prefer Taproots old nu-metal sound but this kicks ass too :D
You're a Taproot & Linkin Park fan? me too, you're awesome bro :)
@Beestonator the manager of the band- mark Wakefield was the vocalist from 1996 - 1998
@Ryan Everden Yes... I know... And? :s
Ow whoops thought taproot was a very underground band
Just heard this song and I was hooked.Lovin' the new sounds
this song does kinda standout
this album just flatout sucks
i don't like Taproot, but this song amazing
I dont care for this music, but If this is the music they want to play, then play it. But I'm not buying it. I still listen to the gift album on a regular basis. Mirrors reflection and smile are still some of my all time favorite songs
I read a lot of comments about tna. It's this song a wrestlers entrance song
Jesus, what happened to Taproot?
There are quite a lot of new bands lately, but those folks have something one of a kind!
""*watch?v=fKTYND_4x2U*
Awesome, ah??
Youtube and experience real music!
At least give them Welcome... Welcome was heavy and I personally loved it. Everything since... soft.
Plead The Fifth had it's moments of heaviness too. Blue-Sky Research is my favourite though.
tingkagol your life is terrible!!
so many people in this thread acting like Plead The Fifth wasn't the album DIRECTLY before this lmfao
TapRoot great band.
are they still in the music business??
I might be inclined to let your comment slide if it was strictly based on personal opinion, but there is no evidence that substantiates your argument. The term "mainstream" is largely misused by too many people. If they were so mainstream, I should have seen more than 50 people in attendance at their show last month. If mainstream is meant to be a general popularity or consumer awareness, Victory records is the last place on earth you would find them and they'd see alot more radio play.
Disagree. This is called going mainstream...not evolving in a good way. I miss Taproot from 10 years ago.
got the same feelin
thank fo no dub step evolution :) love this album its different, it new, but still taproot
And polished it is. I just saw them live last week in St. Louis and they have not lost their luster nor their drive. They seem just as down to earth and motivated as they always have been. This is despite the fact that there were less than 50 people in attendance. I just have the utmost respect for a band that can keep it up this long because they believe in each other and in their focus as a band. I was impressed.
Very well said. They still have their distinctive Taproot sound, it's just evolved and became more polished over the years.
For about the first minute a part of me was like WTF then that chorus kicked in and I was all like "Ahhhh yissss"
What a killer track!! My fave album by Taproot is still Blue-Sky Research though.
have you heard of Simon Says - 'Hey You' before?
Hey! Just wanted to let you know we just released our EP on iTunes. If you didn't get a chance to buy any of our singles now you can get all 3 songs for $1.99. If you buy please leave a comment on what you think, thanks! ❤❤❤ "
Seems kinda cheesey but i like the idea
Seen them live at Rockfest it was my first time hearing about them and wow for my 1st impression AWESOME!
TNA No Surrender 2012 theme. Pretty cool song by Taproot too.
This was also the theme song for TNA's No Surrender pay-per-view (09/09/2012)
Their sound has drastically changed over the years but in a good way. This is how the evolution of a band should be.
Everyone needs to know EarlyRise band
Holy shit you guys suck now! Ive seen you at Harpos in Detroit back in 2000. If you set foot in that place you'd get your asses kicked. WOW YOU GUYS SUCK FOR HAVING SO MUCH TALENT!
EarlyRise is the next big rock band
Saw them at the Dover Brickhouse Thursday night in NH and they played a great show! Mostly older stuff and made it better that I was front and center. Very under-rated band :)
I loved Gift and Plead the fifth but this albums just sounds like they are back to their odd sounds again.
Compelling video. But string it together with the others in the same "episodes" story and I'm having trouble cracking this. Are the boy and the man the same person and the young lady and the older lady the same person (and his long lost mother?)
Holy gay
A new band called EarlyRise is rising
i like the song but the video sucks
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeseyyyyyy
Thank god for the losers at channel one news for actually listening to GOOD music! L-O-V-E this song!!
Tons of good quality videos of Live Taproot on my page!
Very cool video!
What a song.
great song but video should be different
isnt it fake tho?
EarlyRise is the next big rock band
2012 Taproot flopped again
lol this stupid smile at the end...HAHAHAH!
WAAAAH!!!!
cool song but this video....
HUH??
99 people surrender....
weak ppl
Victory in the process of killing another band...
Taproot brought me here, because I'm the number one fan in Portugal
0:58 Release Me lady
porn tash u freaking legend (the drummer)
it's a good song. not sure what the speak & spell part is about though.
well the hell happened to you guys? Not saying this is bad, but I miss the old Taproot, but yeah this is bad!
she reads eastern bound, like in movies, you're now all-aboarding. <3
i'm fan of many groups because of wrestling. i didn't know Taproot before but they are awesome
lmao, well that's cool that wrestling is introducing you to new bands that actually kick ass. But Taproot Brought me Here!! ;)
Surrender.....yep to album sales and record labels....surrendering good music to cheeseball!
Its great if you like super cheesy
TNA > Taproot
rock music at's best
watch?v=js6TBze6vNA
Love the Speak & Spell parts.

THIS IS AMAZING?
watch?v=el3cHidIiAU
Happy that Taproot got exposure through TNA, but FUCK TNA IS SHIT...bums me out that people will listen to taproot just because of TNA.
what the duck is TNA ?
Dat mustache
This video is pretty cool. And the fact that it's the TNA theme song makes it totally rad!
me too, but look at it from a different perspective, this is supposed to be like a soundtrack to a story. Once I took that from that statement it was easier to listen to and I appreciated it more. They also stated that they have been working on this for 5+ years so that would explain why it seems to be a regression in its heavy feel.
are you kidding? we must not be watching the same video, ive followed Taproot for a very long time. i know every song and i love this"concept" album. talent is talent people, change is a constant so get 'unstuck'
ehhhhhhhh.........not as hard as they used to be, but still alright, still miss the old stuff, and hope they go back to it.
TITS N AZZ
The same thing that happens to every band. Get the anger out on the first album or two then you explore what you are capable of musically. You'd have gotten sick of fifty slightly different versions of "Again & Again" or "Poem", I promise.
