Tally Hall - Sacred Beast Lyrics

UNDERRATED.

I think this song somewhat works for the lore of Hollow Knight, just before the fall of Hallownest and the Pale King. The Sacred Beast is the Radiance, and of course the king and queen are self explanatory. It's about the futile and costly struggle of the Pale King to preserve his kingdom for all time and bury his mistakes, loosely from the perspective of one of his subjects (maybe, though this is a bit of a stretch, even Quirrel during the time when he helped Monomon become a Dreamer). Obviously that's not what Tally Hall intended and I doubt Team Cherry have heard this song either, but I think it's a fun interpretation.

I can't tell, is that harpsichord?

The second verse is so magical. The harmonies are so beautiful and it's probably one of my favorite moments in any of their music. The harpsichord adds onto it even more. It's sad that this version is shorter than the demo!!

Some parts may have autotune just for that autotune sound, but they definetly don't need it to sound good.

its a style when they use vocoder/voice modifier, and less of a need to hide their voice. all of them sing pretty damn well

@Psychedelic Spoons I know; it's so sad. I just got into them (wish I had earlier, but better late than never!) and I'm lucky to have one person who likes them, but he's not into them enough to get excited the same way I do (and he's some who, when he loves something, will not shut up about it, so I can tell). No one else shows any interest at all.

It's such a shame because it's been so long since their music first came out, so you'd think the fanbase would have grown a ton by now.
