Yet being very professional about it---as did the rest of Sweet--he worked with it--that is, there was the combination of Steve starting the verse and Brian ending the verse. This video shows Sweet's professionalism as a band--they knew how to work with any situation that arose. Each member had his own unique talents which gave the Sweet their defined musical style--e.g. the four part harmonies, use of arpeggios--and it was obvious that they loved performing. RIP Brian and Mick.

Ok, so the rule was back in the seventies, "you have to record our stuff on the A side and do what you want on the B side"..... hence the sweets best stuff is on B sides! They were asked to back the Who at charlton in 74 but Brian Connolly got beaten up in Staines and kicked in the throat so they had to cancel. A classic case of "if only". They could've been huge and should've been.
