That guy that play for Metallica at this present time is an amazing guitar solo!!! I love his guitar solo on this song, no wonder Metallica hired him.

thomas bridges inspite of this reinforcement Bob Trujillo couldn't have brought Mctallica back to the old glory. Maybe it could've worked if Hatfield had been replaced with Mike and Hammett with Rocky, but then we'd have got.... ST. So I rather choose to stick with Mike and comp and those 3 Metallica albums from the old days when they could play decent metal.

I agree with you totally. Slipknot is pretty kickass metal, would definitely say I prefer Slayer anytime, but Slipknot knows how to rock.

Typical Slipknot hate from typical elitists and close-minded numbskulls. There's very little reason as to why that band gets all the hate that they do. Yeah, a majority of their younger fans are flaming idiots but who the fuck wasn't at 12 years old? SLIPKNOT yea right they are not even in the same relm as SUICIDAL TENDENCIES one of the GREATEST BANDS OF ALL TIME!!!!

A lot of people called an old favorite of mine-Metallica- "music for the 12 year old kids". I'll admit it, I don't listen to them much now, but they are what got me into metal,and I have since discovered many bands that I like better. Slander me as you will for sayin it, but at least I have the balls to admit it in a public forum.

I'd rather see a 12 yr old with immature taste in metal than a 12 yr old listening to lil wayne or some shit. If Slipknot is what gets them into the genre, at least its pointing them in the right direction. They'll soon discover that Slipknot is generic and boring as they discover more and more in the genre and develop into full grown metalheads.
For that reason, I can't fault slipknot....they've grabbed a lot of 12 year old kids that would have otherwise bought a 50 cent cd.

I was in junior high when this came out. Popular music was Vanilla Ice, M.C. Hammer, etc. I hated school and my fucking parents. This album really expressed the anger and went well with skateboarding. Old school So Cal. An under-rated classic.
