@Sumi Lal I really have no exact idea, but what I'm thinking right now is that it has something to do with Jesus, the carpenter, dying for our sins so that we could have the life that we do today. Christmas is supposed to be Jesus' birthday - the day he should be celebrated most. However, it feels bittersweet to celebrate him for letting you have such a life since that would make him indirectly responsible for all the pain, loneliness and despair that comes with any person's existence. You might want to celebrate Jesus for his sacrifice, but you also want to separate him from all the pain of your life and human life in general. That might be why he wants to separate everything he's gone through from Jesus' blessing - attributing it to some other carpenter instead.
