Suede - Attitude Lyrics

Sat on the metro with love on her mind
Intimate details of every kind
Opening doorways to secret rooms
Her emptiness calling to you

She give a little bit of attitude
Give a little bit of something new
Give a little bit of attitude
Get a little bit tacky too

Give a little bit of attitude
Give a little bit of something rude
Give a little bit of attitude
Get a little bit tacky too

A dangerous daughter in a leopard print skirt
A polaroid camera recording the dirt
Intimate details of every scene
Opening doorways for me

She give a little bit of attitude
Give a little bit of something new
Give a little bit of attitude
Get a little bit tacky too

Give a little bit of attitude
Give a little bit of something rude
Give a little bit of attitude
Get a little bit tacky too

She give a little bit of attitude
Give a little bit of something new
Give a little bit of attitude
Get a little bit tacky too

Give a little bit of attitude
Give a little bit of subterfuge
Give a little bit of attitude
Get a little bit tacky too

  35. C.... ....

is this meant to be an imagining of brett in another 20 years? :P

  36. A.... ....

this should have been on the best of - much better track than positivity (or obsessions for that matter). Guess they felt they had to put something in from final album so this standalone single gets the heave

  49. J.... S....

Only from Suede from Glastonbury 2003.

  50. D.... ....

    there used to..

  51. D.... ....

its.. i like that you dont bash people for disliking their newer stuff and go on about "oh, bands evolve" and stuff, but respect that people don't like it..

  52. Y.... ....

Is there a live version of this anywhere?

  53. Y.... ....

    Thanks!

  54. D.... ....

i agree with everything you just said..

  55. J.... S....

I 'd like to hear it live from Brett !

  56. J.... S....

I think you've got the point of the video (and song) luqas99. I believe that's what they were saying. It was a brilliant goodbye! Still one of my fav Suede.

  57. D.... L....

    Excelent video.

  58. Y.... ....

I can understand why people don't like this, and I also prefer the early Suede stuff with Bernard Butler, but this is still brilliant. I think with this track and video late in their career they are really saying 'No more of the old effeminate stuff, show's over, we're moving on.' The video looks sad but actually really optimistic at the end with the city sounds, so I love it.

  59. H.... ....

    ya, all programs compressed videos when you downloaded them. if you wanna Attitude vid (hd), let it me know (;

  60. H.... ....

Ian McKellen portrayed Gandalf, these "guy" is John Hurt

  61. p.... ....

guys is that guy GANDALF THE GREY??

  62. V.... T....

Makes me wanna dance... on a stage, dressed as John Hurt with big fake eyelashes... : )

  63. H.... ....

really? it looks like High Definition, but its QuickTime, unbelievable...
i think its the best vid i uploaded to youtube
    thank you (;

  64. P.... ....

    Brett in hid 60s.
I can see him doing some cheesy cabaret show when hes too old for the jingle jingles.

  65. a.... ....

    yes, sorry :)

he is a great actor, and brett was so amazing in this video :)

  66. H.... ....

"the old guy" is John Hurt darling!
the director of the video was Lindy Heymann

  67. L.... ....

The old guy is actor JOHN HURT, the only appealing element in this video.

And here's to the decline of Suede...

  68. a.... ....

i think the dancing guy was brett..lol

    :D

and i think the old guy was a big fan of suede.

  69. g.... ....

this song is awesome! i luv suede!

  70. A.... T....

This song is completely out of their music style. Suede can't play without Bernard Butler.

  71. c.... ....

Sounds so different than their other songs but I like this. Nice video! Thanks for posting.

  72. Y.... ....

He played Quentin Crisp in The Naked Civil Servant, which I think is the main reference in this video.

  73. Y.... ....

    Never!!!

  74. a.... ....

    i love love love it!!!!

  75. B.... W....

he always had sexy voice! i miss suede!

  76. H.... ....

yes, I think this video is very well done, the song too

  77. A.... M....

my goodness. Brett ages quite nicely with age. actually, he looked good before and still looks good now :) thank God, he's back to having dark hair...I ddint quite like him being blond :P
