I love sublime with Rome. However, I feel like it's finally time for them to come up with a new name. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the name now, but I feel like they've definitely found their own new sound.

+Deep South I'm fine with the name. The band obviously is a separate entity and if they wanted to make music identical to the original Sublime they would have done so. I think they create decent summer vibe music and I have found their 2 albums to be very good. The reason they get hate is because of the name I will admit but it's also on the way people view it. If you listen to the band as a separate side project you'll love the album but if you listen to it thinking you are going to hear original Sublime you won't. I actually know people who heard SWR on the radio without knowing about the original band and they loved it. It even helped them on to the original band.

+Deep South the fuckedupness of sublime was lost when brad died. that was the best part of the band. the soul is still there. they make this music in brads honor. i still feel the same when i hear the new vs the old, even if the old will always be the best.
