I do like the musical arrangement of this version.

No doubt, it is very different with that of The Platters.
Nevertheless, it is very good.
Very relaxing, sounds a little bit jazzy.

Sarah Vaughan has the best version of this in my opinion. Barbra is still the queen though.

Yeah, she does change it , but that's what makes it so special.  I haven't heard the Platters before, I'll look them up immediately.

You are not a musician, are you? I listened to teresa Teng on your suggestion.She did not have the timing, the finesse, nor the voice of a very old Barbera streisand. I never look at real musicians, as they are usually a fairly ugly bunch in general,SRV is a good example. Teresa had a very nice voice, but no chops.No DYNAMICS. Barbera is dynamic. This from a true, Bluesman.
