I could relate to this song and video so much. I raised one child too, a son! As a baby you get to hold them all the time of course..Then the teenage years come where they pretend they don't know who you are. Lol... And sometimes yes, it hurts a little... Boys especially do not want to be seen as a momma's boy especially when around their friends, and they crave their independence! ....But if you hang in there for anyone going through this, I promise you the son you knew comes back to you....One day out of the blue when my son and I were both sitting on the couch, and he was into his 20's, my son suddenly fell back into my lap just as seen here with Barbra's son now all grown! I put my arm around his shoulders almost exactly like Barbra and her grown son here.... Then my son just looked at me at 23 and said, "I love you mom." I tried to hold back the tears and said i love you too!
He still needed Mom!
