Definitely not mainstream. Although I hope he does get huge and helps the guys like him get rid of all that bro country and tractor rap garbage you hear on the radio. I used to listen to the radio all the time now its either talk radio or Pandora because there aren't any real country music stations where I live now. I'm from Oklahoma but I live in Northern Va. Any country station out here is just garbage.

Still a great song in 2016

Just saw him last Thursday, acoustic, at Dosey Doe in the Woodlands here in Texas. The guy is just awesome. It's a small venue so you are very close to him. He comes out and says "I'm here for you, what do you want hear first?". He sang for two hours and every song was a request from the crowd. He joked and told a few cool stories from his past and hung out with everyone afterwards. Such a personable guy. This was my fifth time to see Stoney and I have enjoyed them all but to see him acoustic is something special. It's a must if you ever get the chance.

I work in the building you can see in the background at 2:37.... He recently moved from the luxury lofts on the left side at 2:37 after living there for over a year... I'm heart broken I didn't realize I was looking right at him.

I completely agree! This isnt mainstream at all. All of the mainstream stuff is nothing but words, Stoney Larue tells stories. Pure Texas country right here.

As much as I love Stoney I do think he is going a bit mainstream and that upsets me some... I guess as long as his music continues to sound good and he doesnt forget his red dirt roots i will be a big fan.

I think this is the first studio cut I have heard from Stoney that does justice the spectacular talent in that  man's soul!!
