Go back and think about all the great bands out there and their debut albums. Not a lot of them had groundbreaking rookie albums. REM did. Obviously Van Halen. Pearl Jam's was great. But people forget about Core. Just a fantastic and dynamic album. There was so much craft put into Core and it still has that mint of freshness when you listen to it today. And man Sin still has the ability to give me chills. I recollect seeing STP and Red Hot Chili Peppers when they double billed a tour back in the 2000's. STP blew them out of the water. Not even a contest. Then they follow up with Purple.....damn do I miss those days when bands had spectacular albums and then elevated the music live in concerts.

Ahhhhh........good ole 1993. Core had just came out and I had just graduated high school. The memories this whole record brings back are beyond Awesome. STP Forever !!!!!

When I heard this album, and this song, for the first time, I knew there was something special occurring. The radical changes between rock, jazz, funk, in this song are fantastic, indicative of the music of the time, but unique in and of itself. The last great decade of rock was made much better by this band. They became their own selves with their second album, but this song made them stand out as well. Epic.

The 90's were certainly the last great decade of rock! And Metal! Seems like every album that came out in the 90's, especially from the major bands, was a masterpiece. RIP 1990's

RIP Scott! Probably my favorite STP song. It never got as much airplay as some of their other cuts. This song definitely shows their LED-ZEPPELIN influence. Kinda reminds me of "Kashmir ".
